I have liquid foundation, concealer, blush, and eyeshadow all over my carpet, i havent touched it yet HELP!!?

I have ';little hands'; that have gotten into my make-up bag.. My youngest dumped a brand new bottle of liquid foundation on the carpet... So, I used SPRAY n WASH with RESOLVE on the carpet and blotted the area with a thick absorbant cloth.... I got out my wet/dry vac and used it to extract the make-up... Just be sure to take out the paper filter for wet applications.... I then saturated the area with clean cool water and extracted the water over and over till the stain was gone.... If you can and the make-up is dry like eye shadow and blush you might be able to vacuum it up... Or sprinkle it with baking soda to absorb any oils and vacuum it up.... Good luckI have liquid foundation, concealer, blush, and eyeshadow all over my carpet, i havent touched it yet HELP!!?
you dropped your make-up kit? enough said ... you can try this ..

1 .. get a towel, soak it in water and damp it ... damp it over the stains .. do not rub or it will spread. just make sure the towel is not dripping wet .. it should be DAMP - wet.

2. have an old toothbrush ready, good if you have bleach. (a good one would be clorox bleach cleaner which you can get from a dollar tree store.

3. spray a bit of water and detergent over the stains and then spray some detergent on it ..

4. leave it a few minutes, give the bleach time to work

5. again, damp the stains with a wet towel ...

repeat as necessary ..I have liquid foundation, concealer, blush, and eyeshadow all over my carpet, i havent touched it yet HELP!!?
Yuck! Work carefully not to spread the stain larger.

You need a dry cloth to get up as much of the liquid foundation as possible. Vacuum what you can what is left.

Use a clean cloth with Dawn dish soap to get up the greasy foundation.

Use another clean cloth with just cold water to work at the rest.

Good luck.

What shade of lip color/blush for green eyeshadow?

so st. patty's is coming up and i will definately be rockin' the green glam but i'm unsure as to which color shade i should go with for my lips and my blush. pink, red, neutral? peach blush, pink blush? any ideas? What shade of lip color/blush for green eyeshadow?
If you are making your eyes extra extravagant, keep the rest of the face demure. Only emphasize one feature of your face at a time. So neutral for blush and lips. What shade of lip color/blush for green eyeshadow?
I would think neutrals or peach and/or orange tones...due to you don't want to draw the emphasis away from the eyeshadow ...most likely i would do a gloss something like a beach bronze from Mary Kay or clear gloss from local super mart....everything is done in moderation and natural these days ...plus once again green and another bold color could work overtime on your face....you are trying to look natural and glowing not like a clown...lol sorry
get a natural lip gloss, like a light brown.

If you don't need the blush you shouldn't wear any but if you really want to wear some I'd recommend actually i wouldn't recommend it.

but if you must go for which ever almost blends with your skin but pops a little.

hope i was of some help.
peach or neutral looks best on green eyeshadow

if you are doing green eye shadow i would just do the shimer like cler glossy lip gloss.... and a shimmering powder for you cheeks dont do a certain color like pink or red just do a sparkel clear glitter to make your face shine.....?
for lips just do a natural gloss (try lorac it stays on) and a pink blush but nothing too bright or even a bronze pink color.

Shimmery blush AND eyeshadow?such product exists?

which?thanksShimmery blush AND eyeshadow?such product exists?
Nips, yes to eye shadow, never seen a shimmery blush; however, aularale.com/7002 has a gold shimmer powder and a bronze shimmer powder that can be used to add shimmer where you want it. They also have pretty eye shadows too.Shimmery blush AND eyeshadow?such product exists?
yes of course!

both exist.

but i would say the shimmer would be more obvious in eyeshadows than in blushers.
Yeah there are shimmery golden blushers from borjuois, make up forever and MAC. you can find shimmery eyeshadows at the same brands i mentioned i always use shadows from MAC and they really really look good

Can anyone suggest the best brand or quality of eyeshadow and blush? ThanksThe best brand of eyeshadow and blush?
Covermark - my wife loves it.The best brand of eyeshadow and blush?
There are really good cosmetics in various price ranges. It depends on how much money you want to spend. Target has some good brands fairly cheap. Sephora and MAC stores are wonderful as well if you have more money. Also, check out MaryKay's new make-up compact (eyeshadow, blush, lipstick, brushes in one case).
The best eye shadows in my opinion are the little round pots from Bourjois. They've been going since the late 1800's - they're reasonably priced - they have absolutely loads of colours and you can get them just about anywhere.

I have used MAC and was thoroughly disappointed especially considering how much it had cost me.

I have also used Lancome - again doesn't last and it creases which is bad considering the price.

Something I haven't tried but have heard lots about are the products from B Never Too Busy To Be Beautiful - completely natural ingredients and fab colours and packaging!
You should choose the colors based on skin tone. Not all of them will have the colors that you want and you might have to mix and match. the following are the reputed brands with good quality products that could choose from:

    M.A.C.

    Chanel

    Estee Lauder

    Bobbie Brown

    Revlon

    Maybelline

I tend to go for Clinique, Benefit or Too Faced. Not cheap but good quality and have good staying power and lots of shades to choose from. You can buy them at a discount from http://www.beautyparlor.co.uk and a few other websites which should save you a bit of money!
MAC, followed closely by Sephora. You get what you pay for in this category, I LOVE both brands, and they make you look FABULOUS.

I have a couple of make up artist friends, they won't use anything else to do their clients.
absolutely certain, no doubt about it: MAC!!!!!

maybe a teeny bit expensive but AMAZING!!

very good colour pay-off, excellent quality...

Any ideas or recommendations? thanks so much! :)What is your favorite nude eyeshadow base/primer %26amp; what is a really pretty peach blush i can get for fair skin?
Urban Decay Primer Potion, the best! And, MAC has a blush, it's called Peaches, that's a sheer blush.. And also, Melba, which is a darker coraly-peachy toneWhat is your favorite nude eyeshadow base/primer %26amp; what is a really pretty peach blush i can get for fair skin?
i would recommend the eye started kit from bare minerals.

it comes with a really pretty vanilla color, peach color, a light brow, and a dark eyeliner, i thin its like 28$ but iv had it for 2 years now and havent had to buy more...very well worth it.. im very pale, and i get tons of complements on this...for the blush i love benefit's Georgia:)
if you're just starting to use eyeshadow primer/base.

    I'd recommend ; LO'real Decrease.

It's $7.99 where i live %26amp; you can get it at any drugstore.

I got mines yesterday %26amp; if you have oily eyelids i wouldnt recommend it though.

And i also heard Urban Decay 24/7 Primer Potion is good. %26amp; lots of people use it, like makeup guru's on Youtube.

    (your choice) :)

    ahah.

    Hope i helped ! x
Primer; I use Urban Decay Primer Potion- love it! It decreases and all my friends have some; Too Faced Shadow Insurace- Some like it, and some think it's kind of 'oily', but I like it. MAC Paint Pot's are common too- Soft ochre sometimes, etc., etc.

Blush... MAC, lots of mine are plain old MAC, go to a nearby store and ask for a reccomendation from your saleslady!! mine is really helpful :)
the best primer is urban decay potion and nars has a great variety of blushes!

My daughter loves this place, hope you do as well:

http://painting.about.com/library/blface鈥?/a>I have blond hair and I want to know what color eyeshadow, lipstick, blush, eyeli鈥?and mascara?
black mascrara, and the rest depends on ur skin and eye color
I have blonde hair a fair to medium skin and I put on any color i feel like! It's all about putting the right colors together. I always get eye shadows that come with more then one color that way they are already in the same color family. i just play around till i find a look I like. As for the hair. I usually just wear mine straight but if you want something a little extra an easy here's what you do.

Dry your hair straight like normal

Get a 1 1/2 inch to 2 inch barrel curling iron

Pull hair of you hair up and section the bottom half into three or four sections (depending on how think your hair is) Take a section give it a little bit of hair spray (i like suave) and curl in under all the way up to your head. Do this with all the sections then give them a little extra hair spray. Pull them into a lose pony tail and bring down the top layers.

I usually separate the very top layer out and do sections of three but that's only if I have time.

Do the same thing with the middle layer.

And with the top section the hair from the back to the front. And curl them under.

Adding bobby pins give the look a more preppy. Down is more partyish.

Over all it doesn't take long and it's really cute!
shades that u like and a shades that Mach your clothes
So you asked for advice yesterday but apparently didn't like the advice you got? Why don't you just tell us what you want us to say and then that's what we'll say.
pinks and light blues would look gorgeous on u, since its summer, ponytails and short do's
With your eyeshadow, I would go with maybe a pale pink or a light shiny something
just put anythimg that u like. and u think that expresses your self. dont put to much makeup it just ruins ur face. GOOD LUCK
Natural colors and light toned eyeshadows, you just have to experiment with different tones and ask opinions of friends, there are loreal and garnier websites you may check out for hair styles. Lots of magazines also offer good tips, you might pick something out and take it to a salon and see that they can work with it.
For mascara if you have blonde hair generally use brown. It looks a lot more natural, which I prefer, without looking undone. And the rest is all up to skintone and personal preferance!
I am blond, I love to use natural colors, beiges, browns for my eyeshadows. black eye liner and mascara. I use a a toast color lipstick for everyday, but when i feel special and have a special even i use a deep red lipstick, my blush is a mauve blush. hair, just natural, smooth if straight and if you are blessed with curls, flaunt them!
The best way to find that out is to test all the colors that u like that is the only way you will know what goes well with your skin tone and hair color. You can do the same with hairstyles get a magazine on hair styles and go home and try them out or you can set up a free computer imaging consultation at a salon if they offer it and see what looks best on you regarding length, style, color, etc...
blue eyeshadow is suggested for brown eyes,

lilac eyeshadow goes for any skin tone,

if you want to make the whites of your eyes look whiter then use navy eyeshadow and use navy eyeliner on the outer corners of your eyes,

black eyeliner looks good with any eyeshadow,

pink or red lipstick could look good coated with a clear or nearly clear gloss,

silver or gold eyeshadow would make your brown eyes stand out.

How can i make bronzer from eyeshadow or blush or something??i cant find a good, cheap bronzer?

help? How can i make bronzer from eyeshadow or blush or something??i cant find a good, cheap bronzer?
apply some cheek tint or blush on the apples of your cheeks. take some gold eyeshadow and use a blush applicator. apply on upper cheek area going up to the sides or wherever desired. also for a home recipe try an orangish/brownish blush or shadow and gold/bronze metallic eyeshadow. you can either mix the two together in a little container or brush on the blush then the shimmer. How can i make bronzer from eyeshadow or blush or something??i cant find a good, cheap bronzer?
Maybelline makes a good mouse bronzer which you can get at most drugstores like Cvs for a couple of dollars. Its really good and shimmery. It also lasts a long time. Also I recomend Tarte Cheek Stain in the bronze color. It is 28 dollars though but is truly a bargain because it lasts YEARS. Ive had mine for over a year and its still almost full. You get alot of it and it lasts ALL day. Its truly the best. You can find that one at Sephora stores or at beauty.com
mac bronzer is $21 thats cheap compared to everything else in the department stores .. i heard physicians formula was a good bronzer from the drugstore.
Hi, it is pretty impossible to make eye shadow into bronzer. So cross that idea out. Get a set, of make-up at -a department store, like Carson's, I got one there, with lip gloss, shadow, bronzer, etc. Good luck in finding your bronzer.

Can somebody tell me how long does the makeup last (eyeshadow, blush, lipstick, lip&eye liner, foundation etc)?

It depends on which kind you get...

Foundation if it is liquid typically lasts longer than powder. Usually about 8-10 hours.

Eyeliner last a LONG time...for me at least.

Eyeshadow will typically last as long as a powder foundations 6-8 hours as long as you dont rub your eyes too much.

Lipstick...depends on the kind you get. I reccomend the new cover girl color gloss combo...it lasts forever and doesnt get all over everything. Can somebody tell me how long does the makeup last (eyeshadow, blush, lipstick,lip%26amp;eye liner, foundation etc)?
    Eyeshadow - 4 months

    Blush - 5-6 months

    Lipstick - 4-5 months

    Eyeliner - 3 months

    Mascara - 3 months

Foundation 5-7 monthsCan somebody tell me how long does the makeup last (eyeshadow, blush, lipstick,lip%26amp;eye liner, foundation etc)?
Mascara will start to clump and smell funny. Powder, blush and eyeshadow usually will become harder to use, you will have to work harder to get the desired amount of color. Liquid eyeshadows I have found will clump while you are putting them on, and not go on as smooth, and they to can smell kind of funny. You are not supposed to use mascara after 3 months, but I think as long as none of these things are happening you will be fine.
    use by dates?

    i usually use it 'til it doesn't do the job any more - or it smells ';off';

not sure if there's a use by date on make-up, but you can usually tell when a cream is past its best.

powder shadows are usually pretty good for a few years. i've kept some so long they're back in fashion right now.

Wat color lipstick, eyeshadow, and blush color is best for me ?

-The lipstick will look casual and cute, try a coat of lip gloss also, too dark of a color wont look good stick to lighter colors

-Eyeshadows green and white will make your baby blues pop.Try a light green, these color atract attention to the eye.

-You can go with any blush really but with your freckles i think pale pink would be pretty

Good luck, hope i helped and best of wishes! ;]Wat color lipstick, eyeshadow, and blush color is best for me ?
because you have brown hair and blue eyes you want to wear a soft color but something that sticks out like a red burguny color not to dark(lol) and you might want to add a little blush if you have very fair white skin.

  • Can eyeshadow be used as a blush?

I bought this really silky powdered eyeshadow in light peach (I have lightish medium skin). I tried it on my eyes and it doens't look good. I was playing makeup and decided to use it as a blush. It looks really good since it's not shimmery. I feel like it would be put good to use as a blush instead. Will it be bad for the cheek area? After all, the eyelids and cheeks aren't far apart and it's still the same skin on your face, right??Can eyeshadow be used as a blush?
its fine, dont worry so much.

eyeshadow and blush still use the same key ingredients

which is = talc. Can eyeshadow be used as a blush?
Of course! I do and it looks great. It will not rash your skin unless you have an allergie to that make up (chances are you won't). Shine!
idk...sounds ok to me. i dont think you will break out or anything. and if it looks good then yay!
I work in cosmetics and you can totally use eyeshadows on your cheek area. I would recommend blush formulas to be used in the eye area as the eye area requires eye specific formulations.
    yes it can!
yes but not all blushes like the crem and matte blushes but not really the liquid
    yes
well i use my eyeshadow as blush i am fine but if u Think someThing is wrong take it off my friend try it but she tuck it off i know loads of people who do the same.
Yes, you can use the eye shadow on your cheeks. You can also use lipstick.
yes it is fine to use on your cheeks i use blush as eyeshadow so it all blends..........
    YES you sure can!

Some eyeshadow are beautiful as a blush!
yes. i some times use it
Sure, if it's a neutral pinky colour.

Lipstick can be used as blush too. I've seen my aunt do it and it actually works!
I used eyeshadow as blush before. Nothing happend to me. Its fine.
I do think it will be fine for your cheeks. Just try it for a few days, and if you notice you start to break-out on your cheeks more than usual, than you should probably stop using it. 鈾?

    Good luck hun!
If it is made for the eyes, it will be fine on the cheeks because the eyes are more sensitive anyway.
    it would be fine,

do wat u want, i mean, its ur skin.

and it wont ruin ur skin or anything if you use it on your cheeks instead of your eyes.

    have fun!!!
    no ...
    SURE

What color blush goes best with purple eyeshadow?

I have dark brown eyes and purple eyeshadow goes really good with my skintone and eyecolor but i dont know what color blush would look nice with purple eyeshadow since i do have blemishes. help plz!?What color blush goes best with purple eyeshadow?
I would go with a soft peach blush. Not much though a little near the temples will help set off your eyes and that purple eyeshadow. What color blush goes best with purple eyeshadow?
    peach
well, i think a light coral will be good. Because this color is not too pink or red it will look nice, it will give you a bronze tone with a little pink. Try covergirl, i think they have that color.
A peach color would set you off very good.
Well Blush really depends on your skin tone and face shape.

If you have a fair skin tone and oval face you can go with a bright pink color and it will look good.

If your face is more square or round and darker (sometimes fair can get away with it) Bronze colored blush will look great.

I would work more with your skin tone rather then eyeshadow as far as blush goes, You will have much better results.
Loreal makes a mocha rose wich is like a plum bronze. It can go on apply lightly and dust with powder. It looks natural, compliments both your brown eyes and the purple shadow, and will make you look like you spent some time in the sun.
it doesnt matter what color your eye shadow is. your blush is supposed to maek it look like you have natural beauty. doent wear to much you dont want it to look powdery. but just wear a shade of red like pink or that tanish pink. just make sure it brings out you complection.
I would go with a bronzer, or a neutral color. Pink may make it look too purple.

Do you think eyeshadow, eyeliner, blush and foundation everyday is too much?

why or why not?Do you think eyeshadow, eyeliner, blush and foundation everyday is too much?
Yes, well then again depends on where you work or spend most of your time. Most of that can be harsh on your skin and clog your pores. If you must wear this make up everyday invest in a really good face cleaning regimine. However, if you are looking for a clean but brightening look play up the eyes or the mouth, not both at the same time. Using dark colors on both eyes and lips can look harsh during the day. Hopes this helps.

JMDo you think eyeshadow, eyeliner, blush and foundation everyday is too much?
I think it depends how you use it.. for example you could use all of those and look like a hooker if for example your wearing : thick black eyeliner, blue shimmery eyeshadow, cakey foundation, and major blush

but if your wearing a nice brown of soft black liner with a natural tone of eyeshadow %26amp; sheer foundation with a tad bit of blush on your cheeks, people wont even be able to tell you're wearing makeup.

so in the end, it's just how you wear it
    Well...

    #1 Ewww....u like McCain(he has cancer)

#2 Its fine but u might breakout and that wouldnt cover it

    #3 OBAMA 08!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
NO! ITS JUST WHAT U NEED TO LOOK GREAT
Not necessarily...It depends on the colors and intensity.

Nice neutrals are fine for every day, or subtle colors.
It really depends on who you ask and how old that person is .

    I don't think it's too much :)
Me, i just use foundation (of course), mascara, and eyeliner. thats it. I think the blush and eyeshadow is more of a dramatic effect for going out somewhere. thats just my opinion. I use the eyeshadow and more stuff mostly on the weekends, not to work or just to wal-mart.
i think it matters how much u put in.
I don't wear make up everyday but when i do I usually wear eyeshadow, eyeliner, blush and foundation gloss. The colors i use are very natural looking so it doesn't look like i'm wear a cake on my face.
it kind of depends how much of it you wear, like if your only wearing light foundation with a little blush etc. that's alright, but if your wearing bulk amounts of everything you should probably ease up a tad.
a bit. maybe you can skip the eyeshadow on some days.
Depends on how much you put on.

Can look great if you are wearing the right colors - just more natural %26amp; softer for daytime.

Can i used my eyeshadow as my blush and on my lip too?? Is it safe?

My concern is contamination. You want to keep anything you put on, in, or around your mouth away from your eyes. If you're worried about the safety of the makeup, yes it's safe. Stuff for the eyes is usually mild and pure. Just remember after you do your blush and your lips, wash w/soap %26amp; water whatever brush or fingers you used to apply the makeup before putting it back into the makeup or near your eyes. I bet you're going to have a great look! Can i used my eyeshadow as my blush and on my lip too?? Is it safe?
uhmm, i know the with loose powders/minerals you definatly can use them for cheeks and lips. but when you do, please you different brushes and clean them regularly. but yes, you can.Can i used my eyeshadow as my blush and on my lip too?? Is it safe?
probably on your eyes, idk about the lips. you could check out MAC pigments they good for the eyes and lips.
ya it will look cool and it is safe

What color eyeshadow/lipstick/blush/color鈥?look good on tanned skin thats still a little fair?

im pathan (pashtun) who usually have blonde brown hair and amber, green , or blue eyes. but most say im indian cuz i got dark brown hair and eyes but my skin is only a little tan so im ownderin what types of shades look good, and wats better cooler shades or warmer. cuz most ppl say i can mix around

not sure if u can help that would be sooooooo awesome thanks! What color eyeshadow/lipstick/blush/color鈥?look good on tanned skin thats still a little fair?
Use gold and earth tone shades. Pale color gonna make you look weird and strong color gonna make you look older. What color eyeshadow/lipstick/blush/color鈥?look good on tanned skin thats still a little fair?
well im part indian and part hispanic so i think we have almost the same skin %26amp; hair color. mine's like really tan in the summer but beige in the winter.

i know that golden tones are the best for our skin

i use blue eyeshadow to make my brown eyes pop

i dont wear lipstick but i wear lipgloss that's an orangy pink color because that goes well with my skin tone

blush- i use bronzer blush actually. it's like a mix of pink and bronzer so it looks perfectly shimmery.

    hope this helps
    Like your picture looks cool
i think u should go for the more neutral and earth toned colors. it will bring out those gorgeous features! a little shimmer (like bobbie brown brick shimmer) on the cheeks to highlight would look pretty too! i like warmer colors...i think they will look good on your skin tone.

also i say a sheer peachy shimmery kind of lip gloss would look good. i like gloss better than lipstick but that's just my opinion
I would go for a more neutral skin color, like a shimmery gold or pinkish color :o). That looks really nice, yet natural on your eyes.

    鈾mily
IM PASHTUN AS WELL SO I CAN UNDERSTAND YOUR DILEMMA.

TRY AND STICK TO BROWNY PINKS(LIPS) AND BROWNS/GOLDS/DARK GREENS FOR EYES.KEEP EYESHADOW ON LIDS RELATIVELY LIGHT AND KEEP FOCUS ON LIQUID LINER EITHER BROWN OR BLACK.

BLUSH SHOULD BE BRONZE OR BROWNY-PINK (ADJUST DEPTH ACCORDING TO DEPTH OF SKINTONE)

THESE TIPS SHOULD WORK FOR U

    =)
use earthy colors, like brown, copper and bronze if you want to look more natural. that's what i do because i have tawnish skin. but just about anything is good (i like using dark green also and experiment with purples and reds) - just don't use colors that are too pastelly, that only looks good on white skin. P.S. the bottom half was about eye shadow. the earthy colors was about all over your face.

  • Anyone know what make-up color/eyeshadow & blush Norah Jone's is wearing in this video?

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zzDUi_L6MzA%26amp;feature=related

Thanks.Anyone know what make-up color/eyeshadow %26amp; blush Norah Jone's is wearing in this video?
She does look really pretty in that video. It looks like her eyeshadow is a charcoal/pewter colour, and you could put white pearly powder above it (on the brow bone) for some added glow. Her blush is a dark pink colour, like a dusty rose. I think, however, the most noticable thing about her face is that she is glowing. I think a type of luminizer would work - like Benefit's Moonbeam (http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jh鈥?/a>

or other luminizers can be found here: (http://www.sephora.com/browse/section.jh鈥?/a>

    Edit:

Use dark eyeliner on the top lashes, and then a charcoal/grey colour shadow on your lids. Then black mascara. Use pink blush on the apples of your cheeks swept upwards. Then use the highlighter above where your blush is (cheekbones and up to brow bone). Then use pink shiny lipgloss.

MINERALS AND ORES.Does anyone know how to make your own make-up?? like blush, eyeshadow?
try google-ing it. this site came up...you could try it.
if you want to make your own colors just mix some of the ones you already have. it gives them a more natural look and your face wont look caked on.
If you want lip gloss, you can mix vaseline with a melted stick of lipstick. It colors and heals the lips.

thing you can't bring on board with you.

YES! you can. i had the same exact problem when i went to europe. and i just showed the lady that is there when you check in your bag (not the one on the airplane but the one that goes underneath it if you get what i am saying) and she said it was fine! it is mainly like bottles rather then just lip gloss or eyeshadow(that is not volume btw)
Yes, none of those are liquid.

rob_jonda@yahoo.comI have a pale complexion, like white white. What colour foundation, blush, eyeshadow and lipgloss should i use
i have pale colouring too. test foundation on the back of your hand to check it matches you want to get one as close as posible to your skin tone, choose a rosy coloured blush but make sure its sublitle dont apply to much. brown or neutral colour eye shades and either clear lip gloss or one with a very subtile hint of pink.I have a pale complexion, like white white. What colour foundation, blush, eyeshadow and lipgloss should i use
if u are that pale, u might want to consider using a Translucent powder for shine, and a Bronzer for creating the illusion of color. u put it in the highlighted areas of ur face, like the cheeks, nose, forehead, and chin. then u can put a light dusting (of stain) of blush on ur cheekbones. that will also give u much more color. but don't go too dark as it will contrast w/ ur light skin. try Benefit Benetint, it's a stain that u brush a small amount on ur cheeks and just blend in w/ ur fingers. u can use any color eyeshadow as long as it is complementary ur eyes.. ur safest bet is a pastel lavendar, or a tan/light brown and then a darker version of the color for the crease, to create Depth. i suggest eyeliner to emphasis the lash line, as well as Mascara. as for lip gloss, u can never go wrong w/ pinks.... i like orchid pinks right now but the trend seems to be melons and peaches .... don't worry just practice. if u want, try going to www.eyeslipsface.com, everything is $1 and im sure i'ts good for practicing on urself.
It also depends on the color of your eyes and hair.
When buying a foundation try to find a shade that matches your neck. You really just want to use the foundation to give your skin an even tone and hide blemishes, don't try to re-color your skin. Same thing goes for the blush find a shade that looks natural on you. With the eye shadow and lip gloss experiment with different colors but with a fair complexion I wouldn't go with anything that creates too much of a contrast. Make-up should be used to enhance your beauty. When you wear too much or use it to create something that you are not you end up looking like fictional cartoon character.

Get a foundation that is the same colour as your skin. Go to a department store and get someone at the beauty section to find you colours that suit. It's totally worth it!!
match the foundation, pale pink blusher - not red or you'll look like father xmas - v.festive. wear pale eyeshadows that go with your eyes and a pink glossy lipgloss
I have strawberry blonde hair and green eyes with fair skin, and I use the lightest shade of foundation (I think mine is Ivory or something). Basically most lip colors are ok except for the purples and brownish reds. I go for pinks, reds, fiery reds, and even some peachy colors.

My blush is more of a light pink/peachy color. I use brown eyeliner and mascara. I avoid using black because it is so dark and makes my eyes look too unatural. I think fair skin people can use most shades of eyeshadow depending on the look you are going for...but usually I use earth tones, greens, sometimes pinks or light purples..

I've heard that you aren't suppose to match your lipstick/eyeshadow with your clothing...
Use pale colors to highlight your natural coloring. Pale pink lip-gloss and blush, light brown eyeshadow. If your are young, you probably don't need foundation in the daytime.
you could go to mac. and itll stay on and not smudge it wont make you looked all caky either...well if u apply it right.

Your foundation should be the color of your skin but maybe LITTLE darker...to add colo.

then try a darker pink ((not too bright)) or a bronzer around your face to darken your complexion and define your face shape....

then use a shadestick to make sure you can really see your eyeshadow....you could use mroe nautral lookin eyeshadows like maybe a gold in the lid and a darker brown or violet in the crease...then line the top of your eyelashes with black eyeliner or the inner parts of your eyes....and

    try rimmel lengthening mascara...

then you could use a light pink plumping limpgloss from mac...they only have one plumping one...
use a natural color foundation, pink eyeshadow for brown eyes, blue eyeshadow for blue eyes, a light pink blush, and light pink lipgloss.
Pinky tones, use blush to help lift your skin or a light shade of bronzer in the summer. If you want to try not to be so pale then use foundation a shade or two darker and mix some in with your normal foundation, to make you slightly warmer toned and hopefully not too orange! Just make sure you blend at the edges of your face!! As for eyeshadow it depends on your eyes and hair colour, and how brave you want to be! This program should help,

    http://www.handbag.com/beauty/makeup/mak鈥?/a>

    Good Luck!
I'd go with a medium foundation (powder) then a purplish-brownish color for the blush. For the eyeshadow a gold. and a very, very glossy pinkish-redish lip gloss.
you need to match foundation to your skin or wear none at all

you want a pale pink blush %26amp; brown / gold eyeshadow

    clear gloss
well what color hair and eyes do you have? and do me a favor look at your wrist and tell me what color do your veins appear to be more of a blue or green
ummm try a dark colur of fondation not to dark but mid- line dark and for blush use dark hot pink and for eyeshadow nice soft lovely pink lipgloss u should wear mid-pink!!
if you want More glam try to line your lid with grey don't wear foundation u don't need it wears green Gray colours on lids and clear berry colours on lips same with cheeks if you want more glam line lids top and bottom with grey or silver liner xx
Your foundation should be one of the lightest shades they sell. Either an Ivory or a pale Ivory. Blush will depend on you...try both pinks and peaches and see what looks better. I'd stay away from eyeshadow being so pale...it will stick out like a sore thumb even if applied lightly. If you must, use earth tones like light browns. I'd go for a light brown/medium brown eye liner instead which will highlight and ennunciate your eyes better along with a brown/black mascara. As far as lipgloss....match the blush..either pinks/mauves or peaches.
    Don't!

If you're that pale, dress in black all the time and don't wear make-up at all. ^_^
Someone sugeested dark foundation - DON'T! Always use the same colour as your skin. I'm pale too and it can be very difficult to find make up that's not too dark. Some companies can cutom blend a shade for you. Too much colour can look odd on pale skin. Unless you want a dramatic, look stick to neutrals.
go with the pinks and stuff, look at nicole kidman shes very pale and looks sooo pretty with all of her pink. i would go somewhere where you can see the foundation on cuz you really have to see it on if you dont want a make up line, then you look like your wearing a mask lol
    Hi,

I think an 'ivory' foundation and a light bronzer perhaps, applied to the cheek bones and forehead where you would naturally catch the sun on your face. This will give you a natural glow. Use a lip tint such as Benetint rather than a lipgloss to make it look natural. For shine just put some vaseline over the top. Try sweeping the bronzer over your eyelids because an eyeshadow colour would depend on your eye colour.

Oh and line your eyes to make them stand out. Black may look to bold in contrast, try a brown and brown mascara.

  • What eyeshadow colors does apricot blush complement? I usually wear gray, purple, green or brown eyeshadow.?

Thank you! What eyeshadow colors does apricot blush complement? I usually wear gray, purple, green or brown eyeshadow.?
I think apricot blush goes best with warm eyeshadow colors, since as orange-ish or reddish brown, bronze, yellowish greens, anything with gold shimmer, etc. (Personally, I think that a warm blush with cool eyeshadows or vice-versa *usually* clash, although there are exceptions.) I also like apricot or peach blush with green shadow sometimes!

IMO apricot would clash with purple though .... I personally would recommend a pinkish blush, or perhaps a nude/beige blush -- whatever works best for your skintone :) (I've also discovered that reddish blushes go well with certain shades of purple!)What eyeshadow colors does apricot blush complement? I usually wear gray, purple, green or brown eyeshadow.?
    Shimmery bronze and gold.

If I'm using shimmery olive green eyeshadow, should I use bronzer or blush?

I was thinking that since I'm using shimmery eyeshadow, not matte, bronzer would be adding too much glitter or shimmer to my face. But, would pink blush clash with my olive green makeup? If I'm using shimmery olive green eyeshadow, should I use bronzer or blush?
Yes pink blush would clash with your olive green eyeshadow.

Bronzer is ok, if it's not glittery too much. Rule of thumb ; if it makes you feel obvious, don't do it.If I'm using shimmery olive green eyeshadow, should I use bronzer or blush?
1.) pink and green do not clash! pink is red and red is the best color with green! that is if you know the color wheel! so blush would be fine!

2.) i feel bronzer is better it will make the green pop! but if you wear a bronzer you might want to wear a nice light pink glossy lip
Well it depends. First you need a light bronzer and blush. If you want a more sexy smokey look go with the bronzer. If you want more a bubbly fresh look for with the blush. Just dont do to much of either or you will look like a clown!

Good luck! I hope this helped!
No, bronzer will not look bad. Actually, I have worn my green eye look with my bronzer and I just look sunkissed with nice green eyes! :-)

I wouldn't pair the two to go to work though.

    I love HUMID from MAC.

    And their loose powder bronzers.
    USE THE BRONZER!!
Just use a brownish blush, blush isn't always pink.
a peachy blush would look quite pretty

Do you think ican use pink eyeshadow as pink blush?

It really depends on how bright the eyeshadow is and the look you are trying to acheive. If you want to look like a punk rocker than you would be okay wearing bright pink eyeshadow on your cheeks. However, if you are looking for a more subtle, mature look than you should go with something much lighter and more towards a peach. Do you think ican use pink eyeshadow as pink blush?
Yeah, Most pink blushes and eye shadows can be switched. You may want to make sure you use a brush specifically for blush instead of an eyeshadow applicator though. If you use an eyeshadow applicator it often turns out liney and uneven. Good Luck! Do you think ican use pink eyeshadow as pink blush?
Depends on how pink it is. If it is like EXTREMELY pink, like magenta, it is fine to wear on eyes, but weird for your cheeks. If it in a natural pink, it is fine!

    xo Annie
i use different kinds of make-up for things they are not meant for all the time. so why not? :]

just practice tonight or something to see how much to use and everything and test it out.
Totally! Pink is pink. (and also my favorite color!!!) But not unless it is a dark pink that does not really match with ur cheek skin. I do think that um everybody has different skin from there eyes to cheek. Kinda.. hehe hope this helps!!! = ]
It depends how loosely packed it is, I think. Most of the eyeshadows I have are too dense for me to use as blush without it looking kind of...lady of the night-ish. If yours looks ok, go for it.
Yes you can , vice versa, even match your lip color with it. Especially the minerals foundations.
    go for it!

    of course you can.

    yea

What are some good makeup colours (blush eyeshadow etc) that look nice with freckles long brown hair, fair skin

    Blush: ligh pinks, peaches.

Eyeshadows, if you have brown eyes i suggest purples, browns, golds. (what i use)What are some good makeup colours (blush eyeshadow etc) that look nice with freckles long brown hair, fair skin
What eye color do you have? If you have green eyes (like me), deep shades of purple, green, brown, and charcoal look really good, especially with pale skin. These colors can also look very well with blue eyes. With lighter eyes, though, you want to stay away from light shadows, as this can wash out light skin, and does not compliment light eyes. For brown eyes, shades of gold/champagne looks very beautiful.

Have you tryed the dream moouse products? Such as blush, eyeshadow or bronzer. Do they work well for you?

Looove the foundation - it goes on so smoothly. My daughter uses the blush and really likes it. Great product as far as I'm concerned :)Have you tryed the dream moouse products? Such as blush, eyeshadow or bronzer. Do they work well for you?
I have the blush and it's really good for a natural look. It blends easily and comes in a good shade range. The foundation, however, didn't really work for me - I may have just ran into a bad batch, but it reminded me of wall spackle.Have you tryed the dream moouse products? Such as blush, eyeshadow or bronzer. Do they work well for you?
The eyeshadow work really poorly, but the blush and the bronzer are great because it gives you a flawless finish like mineral wear.
i use the foundatin and bronzer, its great, and has so many shade options!
I use the dream mousse foundation which works really well for me as i have dry skin i mix it work moisture and it looks and feels great. I have also tryed the blush but it felt a bit heavy on my cheeks maybe its just me and maybe because i put too much on.
Are you talking about the ones from Maybelline? If you are, I have the Dream Moouse Shadow, and it worked great! I have Ivory Illusion and Seude Sensation. It really gives my eyes golden shimmer. I have brown eyes, and they worked fantastic! You should definetely try them. But I don't know about the blush or bronzer. But they should work OK.
I've tried the foundation. It works well and it's light so it doesn't make you face feel all clogged up and disgusting.
They work well for me because I have slight acne and they blend well to my face. The eyeshadow is also nice.

    Give it a try!
i like the foundation but I'm not to pleased with the eyeshadow because it dries out REALLY easily..... hope i helped u out!
the foundations good!! but i would hesitate to buy the eyeshadow b/c i can see it creaseing fairly easily.
I have used the foundation and I love it!

  • What should you put on first eyeshadow eyeliner mascara blush or lipgloss?

None. You're pretty enough without it.What should you put on first eyeshadow eyeliner mascara blush or lipgloss?
eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara, blush and lip gloss.. i start at the eyes and work towards the bottom of my face, and always do lip gloss last, you dont want to smudge it!What should you put on first eyeshadow eyeliner mascara blush or lipgloss?
I put on eyeliner, then eyeshadow, then mascara, then blush...and then lastly kick it off with lip gloss.
Eyeliner then eyeshadow %26amp; mascara last. then the lipgloss.
You start w/your eyeshadow and then your mascara followed by your lip gloss work your way down but if you wear foundation i say that goes on first before anything so again work down......
You do eyeshadow first then eyeliner...if you do eyeliner first you might smudge it with the eyeshaow or cover it...then mascara...you can put lip gloss on whenever you want and don't use too much blush!
    non of the above
i always do eyeliner, shadow, mascara, gloss. i don't really use anything else
    the order you said
i do eye shadow, eyeliner, mascara, blush, then lipgloss, becuase then there is less a chance of smearing other products. and lip gloss dries out so its best to do it last.
nothing. big time savor and 5 stars for every natural look.
    blush
the way you said it....plz trust me it works....and nothing gets smeared
    Eyeliner, eyeshadow, mascara, blush, lipgloss

Thats just me personally, but it really doesnt matter.
eye makeup first, first eye primer, then eyeliner, eyeshadow, eyebrows.mascvar, then primer for face, cocnealer, foundation, highlighter (optional), blush, loose powder, then lip liner lip stick and then gloss. (a not all products need to be used)
I usually apply my eyeshadow, eye liner, mascara, and lipgloss.

(I don't like applying blush. Makes my skin kinda tight.)
    blush, eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara, lipgloss
    Foundation,eyeshadow,eyeliner,mascara, then finish with gloss.
    eyeliner
Whatever order you like to put your makeup on is fine, there are no rules. I like to apply my eye makeup first so I can clean up any little mistakes or fall out without worrying about ruining my face makeup.
i would apply all face make-up before moving onto eyes or lips.
eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara, then depending on how strong your eyes are apply some blush (not too much) and last lipgloss
if you think you should put some on u need to put foundation on first then everything else
Eyeliner first because if you mess up, you can clean it up without damaging the eyeshadow

Then put on the eyeshadow. It's better to work with the eyes first.

Then put your blush, (foundation before blush if you use any), then your lipgloss.
Why do you need makeup? You look good already.

    I am a boy.
will what u would put on first is eyelinerand then eyeshadow, mascara blush, and then last lipgloss. Thats what i do every morning and I think it works.
Eyeshadow first, then liner and mascara. Avoikd overdoing the eyeliner, lining the entire eye can make them appear smaller, do only the outer corner.
EYLINER THATS WHAT I ALWAYS PUT ON 1ST
Eyeliner, mascara and blush and then the gloss

I can wear blush but not eyeshadow?

I can't wear eyeshadow on my eyelids because it causes allergies and I have tried at least 5 different brands of eyeshadow, even hypoalergenic eyeshdaow and it still caused allergies. Then i tried blush... it didn't make my eyes all watery and puffy an I have no clue why?I can wear blush but not eyeshadow?
Stock up on pretty blushI can wear blush but not eyeshadow?
they're are certain ';colored'; blushes and if those seem to work better then use them and also some mascara to darken up or lighten ur eyes
well then just wear some mascara
Eyeshadow has a different chemical in it then what blush does. When you put blush on your eyelids, it will not cause any allergy reaction because it doesnt have that same chemical. I had this happen to me once before too and that is exactly what my doctor told me also.
you probably have very sensitive eyes
Bare Escentuals has eyeshadows that has no extra chemicals or filler that irritate the skin. The only thing that might cause problems for your skin is bismuth. If you are not allergic to it then bare escentuals is something you should try.

Is it ok to use blush as an eyeshadow?

?Is it ok to use blush as an eyeshadow?
Lol I do this all the freaken time! I have a blush set with 3 shades of pink and I tend do brush a light coat over my eyes.

    * Totally did this last night! (prob tonight as well lol)

Also I've used blush when you have those awkward raccoon eyes after tanning at the beach or pool for you notherners/ central folk dab the blush on the white glasses outline on your rosie face and it blends PERFECT!

Also I was told once by a makeup artist that its good to dab some blush on your cleavage line. Apparently it enhances the plunge look.

Guhhhh LOVE blush! Is it ok to use blush as an eyeshadow?
Sure why not, though that should be your last resort. It may not be as finely ground as an eyeshadow, and therefore may result in caking or unevenness.

If you really like the color of you blush, and want it on your eyes, then a better idea would be to bring your blush to your local drugstore, or a makeup shop. And ask the sales assistant to help you find a similar shade. That way, you'll have the quality of an eyeshadow, in the color you love (:

    Hope I helped ;D.
Absolutely, peachy colored blushes make great eye shadows, and putting pinks on your eyelids will make the white of your eye stand out. There are no rules in make-up anymore! Many companies, such as bare essentials and smash box design there products to be worn anywhere. you can even mix your favorite blush into a gloss to make a custom lip color! I would not recommend using a cream or cheek stain blush on your eyelids, but powders are great! Good luck and have fun!
yeah its fine..make up is made to be gentle to sensitive skin, so it shouldnt do any damage as long as its the right color.

    hope i helped!
Sort of, blush is made more for your cheeks than eyes. But it shouldn't be a problem if you used it as eyeshadow.
no !! unless it looks really good

its kind of weird but sure..if you like it
i would if i didn't have any eyeshadow, so yea...??

a mix of light blue and silverI am going to a college ball. I am wearing a blue dress, silver shoes. what eyeshadow %26amp; blush should i wear?
Whatever base color you decide on for your eyes you can get really nice silver eyeshadow/glitter and put a tiny bit on.
Since you are wearing a dark dress, lighten your eyes. A thin layer of eyeliner and a light shade of silver or gold should work just fine! Make sure to wear gloss! Remember that less is more when it comes to makeup!
The Body Shop do these eyeshadow cubes (拢14) pricey but really really good! there's a blue one and a silver one, use a mix of both. they are shimmery and very pretty.

Maybelline do a really good blush
simple u can wear an eyeshadow depending on the color of the dress and blue is the uniform adn best color eyeshadow that there is and can be worn on anything.. as for the ball u say..

well take a blue eyeshadow which can be light or dark, with glitter since it is a ball and u have silver in the dress.. :D so that will work and both shades.. wear one that matches the dress though..

and the blush because u have a brown skin i would suggest that you wear a lil dark pink shades and do NOT go for browns.. :D there u go..
for your eye make-up try getting smoky eyes. it would look really good with a blue dress. and for blush keep it a simple, natural color like light pink or beige or a neutral color b/c the smoky eyes will already be a big effect and you wouldnt want to look trashy or look overdone. and same with your lips keep it like a nude shiny color. if u do that i bet you would look sooo preety!
u should go with a lite blue eyeshadow with a little bit of shimmer white but dont look to gordy

and for the blush just put on foundation
I would do a creme color base, brown highlight, blue accent on the eye, where your normal blush.

Which color eyeshadow, blush and lipstick goes with blonde hair, very pale skin and Blue eyes?

I just dyed my hair blonde yesterday and I have no clue what color makeup 2 use with blonde hair, pale skin and blue eyes. I have always used Golds and bronzes, and when my hair was brown I used purples and blues, which colors can I use now?

I can never get the right shade lipstick, so I need MAJOR info on lipstick?Which color eyeshadow, blush and lipstick goes with blonde hair, very pale skin and Blue eyes?
It depends on your underlying skin tone... are you warm or cool? Warm toned people (like natural redheads or strawberry blondes, for instance), look good in yellow, orange, green, brown; if those are your best colors, your fair skin would look great in golden ivory or light golden beige foundation, a soft peach or rust (bronze) blusher, soft greens, browns and yellows for eyeshadows, brown/black mascara, and a peachy or bronzey lip gloss... think warm fire tones (underlying gold tones, warm). Cool toned people (more people are this), look good is blue, pink, true red, purples, black; if these are your best colors, your fair skin would look best in cool ivory or light cool beige foundations, soft rose or plum blusher, soft lavenders, greys, charcoal eye shadows, black mascara, and a mauve or rosey lip gloss... think cool water, ice and snow tones (underlying blue tones, cool). Hope this helps!

p.s. The more orange or golden toned the color is, the warmer it is; the farther away from orange and gold a tone is (blue, purple, etc.), the cooler it is, hope this helps to simplify! ;0)

EDITED TO ADD; I remembered an excellent book on the subject of determining skin tone and make up choices for each skin tone, It is called Color Me Beautiful. It is a great source for color identification.. it deals with makeup, haircolor and clothing color. Ebay has it for DIRT cheap, I am attaching a link, it really is a must have for those who love makeup. One of the most common makeup mistakes women make is picking the wrong tones, this will take ALL of the guess work out of it... this book is from 1985, but color theory will remain the same; yellow and blue will always make green! ;0)

Face- Give cheeks a pop of fresh color with Tarte Natural Beauty Cheek Stain.

Eyes- Apply Tarte EmphasEYES High Definition Eye Pencil to the lash line, an itty-bitty liner with a patented silicone system to prevent fading, and finish with Korres Deep Colour Mascara in Black 01.

Lips- Smooth lips with CARGO Plant Love鈩?Botanical Lipstick in Lola, a sparkling praline, followed with vitamin-infused shine from Tarte Double Dose in Pomegranate.

Everything I listed can be found at Sephora.com.

The look I've suggested is an fresh simple look. It gives you a rosy cheek, natural skin glow, and glistening pink lips.

    I hope I've help!
I have semi blonde hair and blue eyes and what I do is keep it simple, i put on brown eyeshadow and then put pink on over it and line my eye brows with the pink, it looks pretty cool it think and i use a pink blush and a pinkish red lipstick, also try using a brown mascara if u want to look more natural. My eyeshadow came in a pack of 3 with 2 diff brown colors and a pink by covergirl, my blush is from clinique and my lipstick is a gloss from american eagle. Good luck!!
as for the lipstick, if you want to be bold you should use a bright red, that looks great for ppl with fair skin, blond hair and blue eyes.

a light pink eye shadow and a rosy blush would go great!
I would suggest some of the tips from this makeup guru some are a little ove the top but she has more moderate looks and tips overall for whats good for the fare hair and complexion
gold and green ook great. also use vasaline under mascara to lengthen strangthen eyelashes. lipstick: soft pinks.

What color eyeshadow and blush would look best?
You could always go with a bronze type blush with a very small hint of pink. As for the eyeshadow, I think a light/medium brown color would look great with green eyes, or maybe even a dash of light/medium grey. Good luck!I have green eyes, reddish brown hair and fair skin. What color eyeshadow and blush would look best?
For a nice ';day'; look, copper or gold eyeshadow would look good...for an evening look, try plum or violet on your lids, with a little bit of deep green in the crease, and a light green highlight on the eyebrow ridge. For blush, you'd probably look best with either golden bronze or peach.
I have green eyes, red hair, and fair skin; I like to use sheer golden colors for my eyes with a hint of purple in the crease (this really makes my eyes pop). For blush, I use a bronzer and a peachy/pinkish color. Hope this helps!

Black smokey eyes and peach blush are nice on redheads and people with green eyes. My friend has both and loves using black eyeliner and mascara, and peach blush is best for fair-skinned people.
    peachy blush

I am going to a college ball. I am wearing a blue dress, silver shoes. what eyeshadow & blush should i wear?

a mix of light blue and silverI am going to a college ball.

One of the most common makeup mistakes women make is picking the wrong tones, this will take ALL of the guess work out of it... this book is from 1985, but color theory will remain the same; yellow and blue will always make green! ;0)

Thanks. :)What makeup color would go well with me? Eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara, blush, lipgloss?
sounds like your coloring i salmost the same as mine and i am greek! i like to use really natural looking makeup or i apply my makeup very lightly. for eye shadow, go with something like a taupe, sand, or nude color. with eyeliner, you should use black if your want to have a dramatic look. use brown when you want to have a softer look. With mascara it is the same as eyeliner(black=dramatic, brown=soft). For blush the best way to find out what color you should get is by pinching the apple of your cheek. this color is the color you should shoot for when you are looking for blush. with lipgloss,go with a pink/rosey or nude color. you can try on different colors when you go to a departmant store and see what looks best. if you are having trouble finding something the sales person can help you. you can also try going to sephora or mac, which are really good places to look for makeup. mac has every color you can imagine and sephora has pretty much all of the makeup brands, but some of them you go to the department store. some products that i use are:

    Eyeshadow:

Mac eyeshadow in naked lunch, behold, and dove-feather, L'oreal matte eyeshadow in smooth latte(drugstore), jane iredale eyeshadow duo in taupe/french toast, flirt cosmetics eyeshadow in funny honey(buy it at kohl's), and my favorite--estee lauder eyeshadow in pale moon. you can find most of these at a good department store.

    Eyeliner:

a really good cheap eyeliner is prestige soft blend khol eyeliner in jet black. it goes on really smoothly and stays on for a while and is only about 2-3 dollars. if you want liquid liner, get makeup forever professional waterproof eyeliner.

    Mascara:

i wouldn't get an extremely expensive brand of mascara because they go bad in a few months and most of the drugstore brands are just as good. i like maybelline lash discovery, maybelline unstoppable, and covergirl lashexact. if you want to go natural you can get a clear mascara like maybelline great lash in clear. another good one is pout wet lash(i splurged, you have to get this at sephora) which also conditions your lashes.

    Blush:

for blush get covergirl cheekers in rose silk or blissglows pink slip. my favorite is benefit dandelion, which is a blush but you can put it all over your face for a nice, healthy glow. it is one of my absolute favorite cosmetics!

    Lipgloss:

my favorite!l'oreal colour juice in watermelon crush and the color of hope are soooo good. they smell really good too. my other favorites are jane iredale lipgloss in mulberry, lancome juicy tubes in daiquiri, urban decay lube in a tube in NYC, and of course liquid lipsmacker in watermelon and strawberry kiwi.

    Some other great products!:

Plumping lip gloss is great! i use DuWop lip venom which is a spicy, tingling lip gloss that plumps up your lips and increases circulation which makes you lips look there best color.if you have sensitive skin get lip venom lite.also try smith's rosebud salve which is an all purpose moisturizer. you can use it on your lipsor hands if they are chapped, and on your cheeks for a dewy look. Sally hanson invisible lip liner is another favorite.you can use it with any lip color(it has no color it is invisible). make sure you have good makeup brushes too because the way you put on your makeup is very important.

if none of these work for you for whatever reason some good brands to look for are benefit, maybelline, covergirl, mac, smashbox, nars, lancome, laura mercier, etc. try going to sephora.com and see what you like!

hope i helped! What makeup color would go well with me? Eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara, blush, lipgloss?
I say just mascara and nude lipgloss...you don't need much!
Virtual Makeover is great. You can play with colors and find a look you will love. Then it shows you how to apply your new look. Just click the link below.
wow...u hav very dramatic eyes....well i would try to keep a very natural look....use gold toned eyeshadowz to draw out the colors in your eyes...if u use eyeliner %26amp; mascara, use a dark brown....blush shud b a bronzer....lipgloss just use clear or a very natural tone...

    good luck %26amp; much luv
goldish eyeshadow, brown eyeliner, black mascara, a light pink blush, and like a light brown lipgloss, or clear would do great too.
I think that kind of gold-olive-green look (you know what I mean?) would go best with your skin for eyeshadow, it looks really nice. Black eyeliner is definitely best for your skintone, a brown or black mascara, golden blush and a slightly golden tinted lipgloss.

    But experiment around good luck!

I naturally have short, stubby, blonde lashes and the only thing that gives me those long, curled, baby-doll, flirty lashes in Define-a-Lash by Maybelline (it's in a bright green tube). Wonderful AND inexpensive! Gotta love that!
well, i actually hate Cover Girl everything... except their Lash Exact mascara...the regular kind in the purple tube or the volumizing kind in the red tube... it's the best!

Permanent makeup and lipgloss, eyeshadow blush? Looks fake?

I have permanent eyebrow tattoos.. Would wearing either lipgloss, eyeshadow or blush with them make me look fake or un natural?Permanent makeup and lipgloss, eyeshadow blush? Looks fake?
OOOH. I hate eyebrow tattoos... sorry... but i do. PLEASE try to get them removed youll look so much better!!! Wear natural looking gloss, and barely any blush. NO eyeshadowPermanent makeup and lipgloss, eyeshadow blush? Looks fake?
i think if you already have the tattoos, you should probably do a FULL face of makeup and just go for it. Tattooed makeup is just that--tattooed. no one is going to think they are ';real'; however lots of people ';draw'; on or fill in eyebrows everyday. embrace what you have and do what makes YOU feel beautiful.
i guess better just don't do any more permanent makeup it really does not look natural!

How long should you keep your blush, eyeliner, eyeshadow, found鈥?before throwing it out and getting new?

It should say on most makeup products. On the bakc their should be a little container with a number like 9m in it representing nine months. How long should you keep your blush, eyeliner, eyeshadow, found鈥?before throwing it out and getting new?
As long as you are not sharing it, you can keep it a long time because the bacteria in it is yours.

If it is liquid foundation- get one with a pump so it stays more fresh. Foundation will grow bacteria that will cause break outs if you put your fingers in it.

Some companies will tell you to replace cosmetics after a few weeks or months. This is a gimmick to get you to buy more. I have had some of the same eyeshadows for 10 years- I have LOTS of make-up- and I never have had a problem when I use it again.

um if it starts to look funny or smell in the trash it goes but u can usually keep it for up to a couple years

as a general rule, if it smells or looks bad, get rid of it. otherwise, here's a basic list (each is approximate):

    concealer: 1 year

    powder: 2 years

pencil eyeliner: up to 3 years

eyeshadow: also up to 3 years

foundation: oil-based, up to 18 months; water-based, up to a year

lip liner: up to 3 years

lip stick: varies, but usually 1-3 years

    mascara: 3 to 4 months

  • Should I wear a bronzer or a blush with gold eyeshadow?

Which would look better with the goldish eyeshadow and black liner? Thanks so much : DShould I wear a bronzer or a blush with gold eyeshadow?
Either one. Just make sure if the eyeshadow is shimmery you use a matte bronzer or blush. Go for bronzer if you want a sunkissed look and blush if you want a healthy glow.Should I wear a bronzer or a blush with gold eyeshadow?
Bronzer definitely! It would just look a bit off if you wore it with blush. If you do choose to use blush, go with a light color or barely put any on. But you really should go with bronzer on that one.
Blush, mat. You definitely want to TONE DOWN the amount of shimmer on your face :)

Bronzers are usually shimmer, so you're gonna get all sparkly :/ that would be too much, I guess.
    blusher always blusher
Bronzer if you want to go for a summery look
    bronzerr
    blusher

    \xo.
You can wear both at the same time if you really want.

Blush on the apples, bronzer for contouring and for hitting the parts where the sun naturally hits you (forehead, nose, very top of the cheekbones, chin) but apply it VERY lightly. You can also use it for contouring your cheek bones (suck in your cheeks and apply it where it goes in) and then blend that into your blush.

Or you could go for just the sunkissed look by using only bronzer, or go for a more flushed look with blush. Really, either would look fine.

What are good eyeshadow, bronzer, and blush colors for fair skin and hazel eyes?

    Hazel Eyes:

Those with hazel eyes should go toward more neutral colors such as brown. Many hazel gals have found that brown-based shades give them a fail-proof, gorgeous look every time. Pink is also considered to be a member of the brown family, though few realize it.

Most hazel-eyed folks who have mastered the art of eye shadow swear by a combination of pinks, browns, and occasionally greens.

    Drugstore Suggestions:

    1. Pinks and Browns: Almay intense i-Color Shadow Trio, for Hazel Eyes, ~$8.00

    2. Greens: CoverGirl Eye Enhancers - Trio Eye Shadow, Sea Glass #120, ~$5.00

Sold at Target, Walmart, and pretty much any other drugstore.

Always make sure your Lip color is in the same family as your Blush color.

    Blush and Lip Colors:

    • Very Pale and Light Skin – Pale pink colors, for pale skin be careful to avoid all brown colors

L'Oreal True Match Blush, Baby Blossom, ~$11.00

    CoverGirl Lipslicks Lip Gloss, Clear

    • Medium Skin – Sandy pinks

CoverGirl Classic Color Blush, Soft Mink, ~$6.00

Is there such a thing as waterproof eyeshadow and/or blush?

Also, as a side note: Does anyone have any preferences on which waterproof liquid eyeliner and mascara are best?Is there such a thing as waterproof eyeshadow and/or blush?
    Side Note: Maybelline

Yes there is such a thing as waterproof eyeshadow but I don't so for blush. Is there such a thing as waterproof eyeshadow and/or blush?
Yes, you can even get it at wal-mart. I wouldn't reccoment waterproof blush. It is usually pretty good at staying on in the water. Plus the waterproof kind feels waxy.
I don't know about waterproof eyeshadow and blush..i don't know why you would want any lol. but, on the liquid liner and mascara brand names I would suggest go for a bettr quality more popular, and probably more expensive brand. If you buy off brands they will most likely turn out crappy.

I have tan skin and light brown eyes what color blush and eyeshadow should i use?

its summer and i want sort of a new look as far as makeup. so what color%26amp; brand should i use..?I have tan skin and light brown eyes what color blush and eyeshadow should i use?
If your tan skin is on the golden side, use greens and olives to complement the gold undertones. As for blush, use pink, but not too light.I have tan skin and light brown eyes what color blush and eyeshadow should i use?
First as a base eyeshadow try a touch tint by clinique

It brightens up your eye and shimmers in the sun

APPLY to the whole (top) eyelid.

    Aqua,lavender,or silver Eye Shadow

try Victoria secret luminous eyeshadow(glamethyst is my favorite)2 for $12 ......or 5 for $20

    TRY a black liquid eyeliner(top only) I don't have a favorite brand

skip Mascara BECAUSE it runs it the hot weather

try cliniques'; Clearly Pink'; lip gloss it's a bright but sheer Pink

For light brown eyes, I suggest going for the smoky eye look. Blacks, greys, and browns. I wish my eyes were light brown, I'd go makeup crazy. For your blush, use a peachy pink color with a little bit of shimmer, or maybe just a little bit of bronzer.
Bronze or golden tones for blush.

Then a golden-bronze eye shadow on the lids.

    Dark blue eyeliner.
Defiantly pink blush, light blue eye liner with a bit of sparkle.
i would use gold toned eyeshawdows and hints of pink. for your cheeks i would use a soft pink.
    Blue eyeshadow, pink blush

Can I keep eyeshadow and powder blush for 3 yrs?

I have lots of MAC and expensive makeup from Sephora. I want to avoid infections but I have a hard time getting rid of stuff that cost so much money. So Is it ok for me to keep those products for 3 yrs? I use these products alot but I keep my brushes clean. I wipe them with wipes once a week and I deep clean them every other week. Can I keep eyeshadow and powder blush for 3 yrs?
MAC brushes are ones that are meant to be kept for years. I think keeping them for 3 years is perfectly fine as long as you keep them clean (which you do from your description). However, I do recommend cleaning your brushes before and after everytime you use them, just be safer and keep them less contaminated (even if it's just antibacterial soap or shampoo). On the other hand, if they are shedding or anything dramatic like that, it's time to get a new one. Hope I helped! Can I keep eyeshadow and powder blush for 3 yrs?
Anything that goes around your eyes should be tossed after a year--3 months for mascara. Three years is pushing if for blush.
