I have ';little hands'; that have gotten into my make-up bag.. My youngest dumped a brand new bottle of liquid foundation on the carpet... So, I used SPRAY n WASH with RESOLVE on the carpet and blotted the area with a thick absorbant cloth.... I got out my wet/dry vac and used it to extract the make-up... Just be sure to take out the paper filter for wet applications.... I then saturated the area with clean cool water and extracted the water over and over till the stain was gone.... If you can and the make-up is dry like eye shadow and blush you might be able to vacuum it up... Or sprinkle it with baking soda to absorb any oils and vacuum it up.... Good luckI have liquid foundation, concealer, blush, and eyeshadow all over my carpet, i havent touched it yet HELP!!?
you dropped your make-up kit? enough said ... you can try this ..
1 .. get a towel, soak it in water and damp it ... damp it over the stains .. do not rub or it will spread. just make sure the towel is not dripping wet .. it should be DAMP - wet.
2. have an old toothbrush ready, good if you have bleach. (a good one would be clorox bleach cleaner which you can get from a dollar tree store.
3. spray a bit of water and detergent over the stains and then spray some detergent on it ..
4. leave it a few minutes, give the bleach time to work
5. again, damp the stains with a wet towel ...
repeat as necessary ..I have liquid foundation, concealer, blush, and eyeshadow all over my carpet, i havent touched it yet HELP!!?
Yuck! Work carefully not to spread the stain larger.
You need a dry cloth to get up as much of the liquid foundation as possible. Vacuum what you can what is left.
Use a clean cloth with Dawn dish soap to get up the greasy foundation.
Use another clean cloth with just cold water to work at the rest.
Good luck.

What shade of lip color/blush for green eyeshadow?
so st. patty's is coming up and i will definately be rockin' the green glam but i'm unsure as to which color shade i should go with for my lips and my blush. pink, red, neutral? peach blush, pink blush? any ideas? What shade of lip color/blush for green eyeshadow?
If you are making your eyes extra extravagant, keep the rest of the face demure. Only emphasize one feature of your face at a time. So neutral for blush and lips. What shade of lip color/blush for green eyeshadow?
I would think neutrals or peach and/or orange tones...due to you don't want to draw the emphasis away from the eyeshadow ...most likely i would do a gloss something like a beach bronze from Mary Kay or clear gloss from local super mart....everything is done in moderation and natural these days ...plus once again green and another bold color could work overtime on your face....you are trying to look natural and glowing not like a clown...lol sorry
get a natural lip gloss, like a light brown.
If you don't need the blush you shouldn't wear any but if you really want to wear some I'd recommend actually i wouldn't recommend it.
but if you must go for which ever almost blends with your skin but pops a little.
hope i was of some help.
peach or neutral looks best on green eyeshadow
http://www.makeupdiva.info
if you are doing green eye shadow i would just do the shimer like cler glossy lip gloss.... and a shimmering powder for you cheeks dont do a certain color like pink or red just do a sparkel clear glitter to make your face shine.....?
for lips just do a natural gloss (try lorac it stays on) and a pink blush but nothing too bright or even a bronze pink color.

Shimmery blush AND eyeshadow?such product exists?
which?thanksShimmery blush AND eyeshadow?such product exists?
Nips, yes to eye shadow, never seen a shimmery blush; however, aularale.com/7002 has a gold shimmer powder and a bronze shimmer powder that can be used to add shimmer where you want it. They also have pretty eye shadows too.Shimmery blush AND eyeshadow?such product exists?
yes of course!
both exist.
but i would say the shimmer would be more obvious in eyeshadows than in blushers.
Yeah there are shimmery golden blushers from borjuois, make up forever and MAC. you can find shimmery eyeshadows at the same brands i mentioned i always use shadows from MAC and they really really look good

The best brand of eyeshadow and blush?
Can anyone suggest the best brand or quality of eyeshadow and blush? ThanksThe best brand of eyeshadow and blush?
Covermark - my wife loves it.The best brand of eyeshadow and blush?
There are really good cosmetics in various price ranges. It depends on how much money you want to spend. Target has some good brands fairly cheap. Sephora and MAC stores are wonderful as well if you have more money. Also, check out MaryKay's new make-up compact (eyeshadow, blush, lipstick, brushes in one case).
The best eye shadows in my opinion are the little round pots from Bourjois. They've been going since the late 1800's - they're reasonably priced - they have absolutely loads of colours and you can get them just about anywhere.
I have used MAC and was thoroughly disappointed especially considering how much it had cost me.
I have also used Lancome - again doesn't last and it creases which is bad considering the price.
Something I haven't tried but have heard lots about are the products from B Never Too Busy To Be Beautiful - completely natural ingredients and fab colours and packaging!
You should choose the colors based on skin tone. Not all of them will have the colors that you want and you might have to mix and match. the following are the reputed brands with good quality products that could choose from:
M.A.C.
Chanel
Estee Lauder
Bobbie Brown
Revlon
Maybelline
I tend to go for Clinique, Benefit or Too Faced. Not cheap but good quality and have good staying power and lots of shades to choose from. You can buy them at a discount from http://www.beautyparlor.co.uk and a few other websites which should save you a bit of money!
MAC, followed closely by Sephora. You get what you pay for in this category, I LOVE both brands, and they make you look FABULOUS.
I have a couple of make up artist friends, they won't use anything else to do their clients.
absolutely certain, no doubt about it: MAC!!!!!
maybe a teeny bit expensive but AMAZING!!
very good colour pay-off, excellent quality...
its professional!

What is your favorite nude eyeshadow base/primer & what is a really pretty peach blush i can get for fair skin?
Any ideas or recommendations? thanks so much! :)What is your favorite nude eyeshadow base/primer %26amp; what is a really pretty peach blush i can get for fair skin?
Urban Decay Primer Potion, the best! And, MAC has a blush, it's called Peaches, that's a sheer blush.. And also, Melba, which is a darker coraly-peachy toneWhat is your favorite nude eyeshadow base/primer %26amp; what is a really pretty peach blush i can get for fair skin?
i would recommend the eye started kit from bare minerals.
it comes with a really pretty vanilla color, peach color, a light brow, and a dark eyeliner, i thin its like 28$ but iv had it for 2 years now and havent had to buy more...very well worth it.. im very pale, and i get tons of complements on this...for the blush i love benefit's Georgia:)
if you're just starting to use eyeshadow primer/base.
I'd recommend ; LO'real Decrease.
It's $7.99 where i live %26amp; you can get it at any drugstore.
I got mines yesterday %26amp; if you have oily eyelids i wouldnt recommend it though.
And i also heard Urban Decay 24/7 Primer Potion is good. %26amp; lots of people use it, like makeup guru's on Youtube.
(your choice) :)
ahah.
Hope i helped ! x
Primer; I use Urban Decay Primer Potion- love it! It decreases and all my friends have some; Too Faced Shadow Insurace- Some like it, and some think it's kind of 'oily', but I like it. MAC Paint Pot's are common too- Soft ochre sometimes, etc., etc.
Blush... MAC, lots of mine are plain old MAC, go to a nearby store and ask for a reccomendation from your saleslady!! mine is really helpful :)
the best primer is urban decay potion and nars has a great variety of blushes!

My daughter loves this place, hope you do as well:
http://painting.about.com/library/blface鈥?/a>I have blond hair and I want to know what color eyeshadow, lipstick, blush, eyeli鈥?and mascara?
black mascrara, and the rest depends on ur skin and eye color
I have blonde hair a fair to medium skin and I put on any color i feel like! It's all about putting the right colors together. I always get eye shadows that come with more then one color that way they are already in the same color family. i just play around till i find a look I like. As for the hair. I usually just wear mine straight but if you want something a little extra an easy here's what you do.
Dry your hair straight like normal
Get a 1 1/2 inch to 2 inch barrel curling iron
Pull hair of you hair up and section the bottom half into three or four sections (depending on how think your hair is) Take a section give it a little bit of hair spray (i like suave) and curl in under all the way up to your head. Do this with all the sections then give them a little extra hair spray. Pull them into a lose pony tail and bring down the top layers.
I usually separate the very top layer out and do sections of three but that's only if I have time.
Do the same thing with the middle layer.
And with the top section the hair from the back to the front. And curl them under.
Adding bobby pins give the look a more preppy. Down is more partyish.
Over all it doesn't take long and it's really cute!
shades that u like and a shades that Mach your clothes
So you asked for advice yesterday but apparently didn't like the advice you got? Why don't you just tell us what you want us to say and then that's what we'll say.
pinks and light blues would look gorgeous on u, since its summer, ponytails and short do's
With your eyeshadow, I would go with maybe a pale pink or a light shiny something
just put anythimg that u like. and u think that expresses your self. dont put to much makeup it just ruins ur face. GOOD LUCK
Natural colors and light toned eyeshadows, you just have to experiment with different tones and ask opinions of friends, there are loreal and garnier websites you may check out for hair styles. Lots of magazines also offer good tips, you might pick something out and take it to a salon and see that they can work with it.
For mascara if you have blonde hair generally use brown. It looks a lot more natural, which I prefer, without looking undone. And the rest is all up to skintone and personal preferance!
I am blond, I love to use natural colors, beiges, browns for my eyeshadows. black eye liner and mascara. I use a a toast color lipstick for everyday, but when i feel special and have a special even i use a deep red lipstick, my blush is a mauve blush. hair, just natural, smooth if straight and if you are blessed with curls, flaunt them!
The best way to find that out is to test all the colors that u like that is the only way you will know what goes well with your skin tone and hair color. You can do the same with hairstyles get a magazine on hair styles and go home and try them out or you can set up a free computer imaging consultation at a salon if they offer it and see what looks best on you regarding length, style, color, etc...
blue eyeshadow is suggested for brown eyes,
lilac eyeshadow goes for any skin tone,
if you want to make the whites of your eyes look whiter then use navy eyeshadow and use navy eyeliner on the outer corners of your eyes,
black eyeliner looks good with any eyeshadow,
pink or red lipstick could look good coated with a clear or nearly clear gloss,
silver or gold eyeshadow would make your brown eyes stand out.
use coal.. like the rocks
