What color blush and eyeshadow go together as a must?

i am african american and people at my school say i look weird with rouge blush and green eyeshadow so please help me!!What color blush and eyeshadow go together as a must?
okay when you say african american...you still have to give more info: are you very dark, yellowish skin tone??? It all makes a difference. I would stick with a little bronzer on more of a goldish tone for the entire face, and bronze on the eyes...a really pretty wine colored lip, or you can never go wrong using, nude colors and get that sexy wet look!! also perhaps those people saying things about you, should help you instead of talking about you. Always remember that beauty comes from within......and as long as you like what you see in the mirror...girl do your own thing! What color blush and eyeshadow go together as a must?
i am black too and i wear a aura science russet red blush from victorias secret, its discontinued and i can only get it from semi annual sales, but it looks best on my complexion. try to find a blush that is not too red or too pink, because it will not look natural. dont think that because you are black, that you cannot wear blush, thats silly. i would go to a mac counter- (i personally feel that they have the most shades available for women of color) and ask their recommendation for which color blush you should wear.

as for the green shadow, i wear color on my eyes, but maybe it is the type of green, avoid very light colors like limes, because they are not flattering and can look halloween-ish

Hmm don't take this offensively, but I think bronzer will look better than blush, and a tan/gold eyeshadow
the only rule of thumb is keep warm colours with warm colours, and cool with cool. but even that rule is meant to be broken. it all depends on shades and strengths of the colours you're using.

but keep in mind that red and green are complementary colours, which means that they intensify eachother the most. having two high points of attention like that may be causing the eyesore.
I would suggest more intense shades of purple for eyeshadow and the dark reds would blend really well for blush. Avon's true color eyeshadow and blush has many different shades to choose from ranging from really pale pastel to dramatic color intensities. You can actually shop for them online.
Why don't you try pink's and warm colour's.
hmm...i think maybe a slight orangish pink blush with a light light pink eyeshadow. hope that helps!
Always choose what goes best with your complex and you can always do test on choosing your color
it depends on what color your complexion is.
well duh u cant ever where green eye shadow unless its santpattys day u have to wear colors that blend yur skin
Taupe, gray, violet, purple and deep blue colors go well with blue eyes while black mixed with bright blue color helps to create smoky eyes. For bold funky looks, you can choose silver, turquoise and fuchsia colors. Brown, apricot, purple, plum and forest green colors brighten up green and hazel eyes while you can add a touch of boldness to the face by experimenting with gold, lime-green, very light green and bright purple shades. Copper, bronze, champagne, beige and forest-green looks good on brown eyes while brown eyeshadow helps to create a doe-eyed look. Colors like tangerine, royal blue, hot pink and lime-green add a punch to the personality and are quite favorite with younger generation. The colors that can be used for all eyes are navy or charcoal based shades while powder-blue eyeshadow is great for achieving highlighting effects while the hottest color in the night parties is the silver-sparkle.

You should try the browns, like bronzy colors and the golden color to go along with it. It also helps if you put the darker color on the outer half of your lid and then blend the lighter shade towards the inside half of your eye closest to the nose.

This will also make your eyes look more wide awake and vibrant but it looks so natural. I get compliments on mine all the time.

While I am not african american I do have very dark skin and I tan at least 4 times a week. I have african american friends who have tried it also and it looks great!

Good luck!
Gold eye shadow looks really cool! But im not shure about the blush
