Does Guys like girls with eyeshadow, foundation, blush, perfume?

i had a question about guys who likes girls with makeup. Turns out, the majority like girl with no makeup, just light makeup like mascara, eyeliner and lipstick. But what about eyeshadow, does guys like when girls put them on, and foundation, blush, perfume... everything.

i want to know what guys don't like girls to put on their face.

i know a girl who put A LOT of makeup (lipstick, mascara, foundation, concealer, eyeshadow, eyeliner, blush) EVERYDAY, but she's really pretty and she's lucky to have a boyfriend. That statement didn't help the GUYS LIKE GIRLS WITH NO MAKEUP theory, yes my english is bad.. well i want your opinionDoes Guys like girls with eyeshadow, foundation, blush, perfume?
Too much makeup = too much upkeep and alot of guys aren't patient with a girl who is essentially a depreciating investment.

**My husband answered this one**Does Guys like girls with eyeshadow, foundation, blush, perfume?
Thanks for aknowledgement of the literature! Lol

I would say that, All guys like all girls, IF THEY ARE STRAIGHT, that is...

But, by personaly experiance, I know my man doesn't much care to kiss on me when Ive piled on the gloss.

I mean, he's a guy. guys generally dont wear gloss...

But anyway, I'm an aspiring makeup artist, and I experiment CONSTANTLY, and my guy always supports me and asks to see what Ive done..

So anyway, I think tastefulness is the key, just keep that in mind...
Makeup in moderation is OK.

However some people really over do it and make themselves look a bit over processed.
Im a girl but im pretty sure guys like girls with less makeup...more natural.
just wear a little eye makeup i guess

.. i hate lipstick so much
guys like hookers, so yeah i guess they like chicks with makeup

I found this Eyeshadow and Blush Palette on Ebay and...?

I was wondering if anyone here in the Yahoo! Answers community has seen it or even bought it before. It has 78 colors of eyeshadow and blush pigments combined together. The description for it says:

';This PRO MAKE-UP ARTISTS CHOICE 78 colors professional set is manufactured for many of the Big Designer Brand names. This set comes directly to you before being stamped with designer logos. Without marketing mark-ups or extra costs! The eye shadows do not fade or dry out. Excellent pigments that last all day long and will not crease. Some shadows are matte and some have shimmers in them. The kit also includes a mirror and 2 applicators for easy application and perfect control! BRAND NEW IN BOX! NEVER USED OR TESTED!';

I've also found it in a few other international, or rather foreign, web sites with pretty much the same advertisement and pricing. Yet I can't seem to find any product reviews related to this particular item.I found this Eyeshadow and Blush Palette on Ebay and...?
i wouldn't. usually those kinds of kits have no pigment. the colors have a lot of fillers in them and have ton of talc. you will be nothing but frustrated trying to scrape enough pigments out of the pans.

now, i dunno about those kits but i know what you're talking about. it looks great but i wouldn't get it unless they have a return policy so you could see for yourself if it has a lot of the fillers in them. but usually those kinds of kits have tons of talc and no color. i generally stay away from those kids. cover girl actually probably has more color in their eyeshadows than those kits have.

http://claires.com/product.asp?name=prod鈥?/a>

I was wondering if I should purchase the item.

It seems very cheep for only 10 dollers.

and I was wondering if it would be a good pallete for me?

or if I should just start off with the urban decay palletes, because I heard they we're good for a first pallete.

I cannot by online so, I'd hafta' get a pallete though the mall.

and I don't want my first pallete to be from mac simply because I was a variation of color first.

How much are the palletes from mac anyways?Claire's eyeshadow and blush set?

Claires makeup up sucks sooo bad..

Urban decay hav wicked colours, bright and bold, that stay for ages!

If you're looking for an inexpensive pallette, I'd suggest Wet n Wild over Claires. I've tried both, and the Claire's stuff was chalky, crumbly, and didn't show up.

Wet %26amp; Wild has some pallettes of just eyeshadows and one with eye, lip, blush %26amp; highlighter colors. Pretty cheap at CVS.
YES!

You Should Buy It I bought A eyshadow ect PAllet From Claires And It Is Really Good!!

HEY YOU CAN ALWAYS HAVE BROWN LIGHT COLORS IF U HAVE A LIGHT SKIN!!
If you like it then get it!
the ones @ clairs are o.k but its more like kiddy make-up, the pigmentation isent so great so it wont be a bright clor. urban decays is good because they have small palletes too, and thye colors are good too.

im mac fan so i would go with that but it is veryyy pricey, u pay fo the pallete itself and is 8 dollars for every color

  • Eyeshadow as blush?!?!?! ?

Okay so my friend said that you can use a very light pink eyeshadow as blush but just a little I put it on.. and then took it off cause I didn't feel right about it and I put on my regular blush.. and I have a sensitive face I have to use Bare Ecentuals my mom only wants me to wear dark pink blush.. I can only use bare ecentuals cause my face is so sensitive.. Is it bad if I put it on my face?? Or can I do that without it braking out SO BAD!!?!?!?! PLEASE HELP ME!!!!! Eyeshadow as blush?!?!?! ?
hi, no if you have a sensitive skin do not use eyshadow as a blush because there are things in eyeshadow which are not good for sensitive cheecks. just a buy blush. oh and by the way..

also have very very sensitive skin and i thoguth that bare escentuals would be good but no! its actually very bad for sensitive skin!!! there is this thing which is called oxyd something and people who have sensitive skin ofen get allergic to it and it can cause HUGE BRAKING! just google it, its very very bad for a sensitive skin.

so after this happened to me i had to change to clinique, because that is especially made for sensitivie skin. STOP using be. it could have ruined my skin.

good luck ;) Eyeshadow as blush?!?!?! ?
    Eye makeup is for eyes

Just buy a blush with a color that you like and your done

Don't use anything that was made for a part of your face and use it somewhere else. Use it where it was purposely made for.

Do you have to match eyeshadow with lipstick, blush, outfit, ect.?

EXAMPLE: f I were to wear gold eyeshadow, would I have to wear a goldish lipgloss, bronzer instead of blush, and something gold in my outfit?Do you have to match eyeshadow with lipstick, blush, outfit, ect.?
no, it just has to look good, thanks!Do you have to match eyeshadow with lipstick, blush, outfit, ect.?
People always seem to think that you have to match your eyeshadow to EVERY lil thing! But you dont. If you wear gold eyeshadow you COULD wear goldish lipgloss but you dont have to. for clothes, you could wear colors that compliment/go with gold but you should have a couple gold accessories like earrings or a bracelet or necklaces...

so dont go crazy with ';gold'; but use colors that at least go with it!
no it dosent all have to match if u wear gold eyeshadow then wear skin tone blush and light lipgloss/stick
No- just make sure everything ';compliments'; each other.

Example: Gold eye shadow, brown outfit, clear lipgloss.

It's always fun to play around with colors- purples go well with blues, greens go well with gold, pink goes well with white.

Just experiment and see how it goes!
Too much of anything is not good, however, most make-up comes in color families that you can blend different colors together to create a nice soft look from eyes to cheeks.

Consult a make-up artist at a cosmetic counter at a department store. Or try Maybeline.com. They have great do it yourself guides. That's how I learned. When I am out people always compliment me on the make-up. They think I had a professional do it.

    Good Luck.
No. Gold is one of those neutral colors that manages to look good with any clothing. However, when all your make-up is gold it tends to look 'tin man-ish'. I say stick with just the gold eyeshadow or the lipgloss and bronzer.
I think you should try to find a color of eyeshadow that compliments your eyes. It doesn't necessarily have to match. Plus, gold is a neutral color so you don't need to match other things with it because gold will compliment lots of other colors.
I wouldn't say it needs to match, it just doesn't need to clash. I always think of makeup colors in cool colors or warm colors. I think of cool colors as those with blue undertones and warm colors as those with brown undertones. I try to keep my makeup colors, such as blush, eyeshadow, and lipstick in those color families. For example, gold eyeshadow would be considered a warm color to me. I would wear a warm blush, such as coral maybe and a lipstick with brown undertones, such as mocha or coral. I wear these warm colors when my outfit is a warm color, such as red, brown, orange, etc. If my outfit is more of a cool color, such as pink, blue, etc. I would wear cool colors, such as pink blush, lipstick, etc. I don't know if this makes any sense, but it is how I do my makeup.
i wouldnt really match my lipgloss to my eyshadow. and depends about your outfit. i know alot of girls that think that their eyemakeup should match there outfit. and sometimes its pretty like beyonce would wear pink eyeshadow with a pink dress. but you really dont have to espically if its not a good color for your eyes. and if you match like goldish makeup all over it might wash you out. if you play up the eyes, do neutral on the lips and vise versa =]
no just make sure every thing isn't too wild.
No, you could wear a gold eyeshadow and a clear lipgloss or something to that effect. If you used bronzer instead of blush you might even be able to use like a red lipstick or something vibrant like that.
You do not have to match your gold eyeshadow with everything else you are wearing. Gold isn't a colour that you match with your clothing/accessories because gold can go with anything
you can express yourself the way you want...but yes there are rules to the game. In considering your example scenario, If you wear gold eyeshadow, you dont have to necessarily match it completely to the rest of your face..but.. if you do wear that color use a blush thats has more of a light brown undertone like a light brushed Rosewood color..and for lips a nude color would work very well. As for your clothes, I have always been one to match my make up to my clothes but you can always see what matches best to what you are wearing:

Golds: Browns, reds, yellows, creams, orange

    black: blues, grays, purples

    pink: lavenders,light blues, light shimmers

I think you have the idea. Hope this helps!!
Only if you want to look like you're living in the 80's era. Throw on an oversized shirt with some leggings and big hair, and you'll be set! :)
Your make up colors are based on what you personally feel. I wear green eyeshadow with gold flecks and pinkish lipgloss and might have on something purple or orange or yellow. Just do what colors feel right.
Not necessarily, for example lipgloss can be rose, or natural color. And the whole outfit of whatever colour. e.g. if you are blond, its nice to use gold eyeshadows, rose lipstick or gloss, black eyliner and whitish or blueish clothes.

If you choose gold in makeup, when wearing something glowing, brown, or gold can look definitely stylish.

If you have a good tan gold and sparkling brown are very nice for you!
no you don't have to, some people say that you would look better that way but i personally like to have some different colors, but like gold that color can work with anything so it really doesn't matter.

also if you look in magazines, not many of them are wearing the same color eyeshadow as there lipgloss or clothes.
Wear what makes you happy. As long as you feel good about it forget what others may think. I love gold and bronze eyeshadows, i tend to wear those the most. I might wear a brown or bronze lipstick and put a goldish lipgloss on top. I think those colors bring out my complexion more. I normally dont try match up to my outfit, i just wear whatever i feel like that day. But sometimes i do try to match everything up. Like today im wearing a plum/brown shadow mix with a muted pinkish lipstick and a pinkish top so it works well.
haha.. ;) nooo^^. You would want to pick colors that are similar or go well with each other. Too much of one color would really be... too much. For example, pink eye shadow, and bold red lipstick. lol. =) you get the idea... ;)
I'd say no, because then everything blends in TOO much and you'll look bland. You want something to POP, whether it be your eye make-up, lips or outfit.

Can blush be used as eyeshadow?

I have medium olive skin and blue eyes...I love to use the bricky red-terra cotta bronze eye shadows, but have trouble finding them...I have found a number of blushes in the color I like but do not know if I should use them on my eyes....also, if anyone could recommend an eyeshadow and lipstick in these shades I would appreciate it...thanksCan blush be used as eyeshadow?
I personally don't own any eyeshadow. I've used blush in its place for years. You'd be amazed at how many compliments I receive on my make up... It still amazes me. Go ahead and use the blush. I usually put a little foundation on my eyelids and then apply the blush. It help the color stay on longer. And it looks GREAT! Good luck and God bless! Can blush be used as eyeshadow?
I've used blush on my eyes before as eyeshadow and it looks alright. I think that you should be fine. Also, check out these sites and see if there are any colors that you like. I hope this helps!

    xo tinkerbell xo
yes it can but your have pink eyes lol
yep, i use my blush as my eyeshadow every day! it saves a little bit of time and an extra step =) its a simple look for a girl who really doesnt have that much time in the mornings for makeup. just make sure you smooth it out so you dont walk around with big red eyelids! good luck!
Sure you can use blush as eyeshadow. I do it all the time! It won't harm your eyes at all.
if its the rite color, then yeah !! i guess loreal has !!
    I have used it before
Yes, but if you do, don't get a dark color and don't put on to much.

It's usually best to buy eye shadow close to what your looking for.

Not to be rood, or make you sick, but lipstick is made from bacteria and fish scales. Lipgloss is a much better product.
Yes you can. But make it the right shade. Not to dark.
never tried it,try it and see. i have used lipstick as blush,it worked pretty good and it was the same color as my lips.if your blush has any kind of glitter in it i wouldn't use it ,as the glitter may irritate your eyes. have you looked at Avon,Mary Kay,or such? they have a wider variety of products.
There is no reason why you couldn't use the blush for an eye shadow -- however, you might want to check with your Avon representative -- they have many colors and several in the color scheme you are looking for and you can get both eye shadow and lip color from your representative.
Yes it can but do you really want to walk around with red eyes! I saw a young lady at the mall with this red eyeshadow that could only have been blush...the blush made her eyes look terrible. She was a pretty girl but the redness took away from her beauty. Makeup should compliment your face, not take over your face.
of course you can as long as the colour looks ok! you can also add it to your lip gloss the give your lips some colour as well... cause i can never find a colour to suit me so by doing it like that i can make the colour as subtle or as intense as i need!
    yea i do it
Yes,but I wouldn't reccomend it because it smears and it doesn't really last as long as regular eyeshadow and it sometimes causes a line in the crease because its not real eyeshadow.

What shades of lipstick, blush, and eyeshadow would look best on me?

I have pale skin, green eyes, and redish brown hair. What shades of lipstick, blush, and eyeshadow would look best on me?
Go to a MAC counter at a Macy's in your area and they will give you ideas, but u dont have to buy their makeup, its expensive. Like $16 for a single color pallet. Pretty tho.

Mac makeup help. eyeshadow and blush?

Ok I m turning 17 and I want to change my look a little. I usually wear fresh brew on lips with eyeliner. I was wondering what eyeshadow and blush should i get. I am nc42, dark brown hair, dark brown eyes. it would be gr8 if someone could tell me more about honey lust, mythology, texture, soft brown, and expensive pink. do u think expensive pink will good one me. the one who answers all my questions wins with the best suggestion for eyeshadow and blush!Mac makeup help. eyeshadow and blush?
i think a nice brown, like Satin Taupe and the light color, shroom near the brow would look so nice and you can use the expensive pink do fade out the satin taupe to the shroon and do like a smokey effect. then you can get the khol liner Teddy (which is beautiful) and put it on the upper eyelid and on the bottom you can use either a brown as well or very lightly apply a creamy white liner. you should get the 242 shader brush to evenly blend in the three eyeshadow colors and the 213 pluff brush to lightly apply the eyeshadows.Mac makeup help. eyeshadow and blush?
if u have a darker skin like me like a tan then i can tell u what a werar i wear browns and golds and creams on the eyes with black eyeliner and mascaria and a pink lig gloss and a shimmer all over brozner but just a lil and a soft pink blush but again a little not alot of blush but even if your not tan this will still look really good with your dark hair

To create the illusion of bold cheekbones can i use eyeshadow on the hollows of my cheeks instead of blush?!?

Technically, you could, but be careful about the color of eyeshadow you use because it might not look natural. Use a big brush to apply it, not the actual eyeshadow brush. Also, a lot of eyeshadow has a little shimmer or sparkle to it, and that would only highlight the area even more, so make sure you use one that's matte. To create the illusion of bold cheekbones can i use eyeshadow on the hollows of my cheeks instead of blush?!?
sure but if you over do it, it will look really weird from certain angles. To create the illusion of bold cheekbones can i use eyeshadow on the hollows of my cheeks instead of blush?!?
sure. I do that all the time. I like the color of my eye shadow on my cheeks, but I cant find that color in blush ... so, yea!
You could, but it looks very dated, ala early-to-mid nineties movies. You would be better off with a highlighter on the cheekbone.
It would be fine but make sure to apply it with a brush, it will appear more softer. Pick a shade that is natural and apply towards the ears and blend really well.

Should I ask before I wear eyeshadow, a little mascara and/or some blush?

I am 10.Should I ask before I wear eyeshadow, a little mascara and/or some blush?
If you are going to, you should go with a lighter shade like tan or

coral, to mix with your skin. If you're going to wear foundation or

powder, then get a color that matches your skin tone. They actually

make clear ((natural)) mascara, and that would be better for you!!Should I ask before I wear eyeshadow, a little mascara and/or some blush?
Please don't wear mascara so young. After you've worn it for many years, your eyelashes start to fall out! Believe me, it happened to me. Eyeshadow.....nah. You're 10 and don't need to look like you're ';trying'; to look older. If you really feel a strong need to wear some makeup, definitely ask your parents. They will have the best advice for you and I'm sure won't let you wear it without their permission anyways. Right? My advice is if you do ask, ask if you can wear maybe some sheer tinted lip gloss, and MAYBE a very light, light , light blush.
hahhh girll. i started wearing makeup when i was 12!! which is also young. and trusssttt mee, when u put makeup on constantly and every day, you get used to yourself looking like that. so when u take it off, your self critisicm will go way up, because ull probably think u look ugly =[. also when u like run out of something, and u cant wear it to school, because u have no more, people will think u look awful

btw, 10 = way too young
Please don't. I mean wear any. It's unnecessary and stupid for a 10 year old to wear makeup. You probably have fine skin. Wait a few years. But if you absolutely must, definetly ask. Maybe then your mom will help you apply it right so it looks natural.
holy crap your too young for makeup dont even try it untill your atleast 12. or 11.5 but still your mom will be really mad if you do
dont wear makeup when youre young. ppl will think your fake
you don't sound like a ten year old.
i agree. they will call you a wh***. and fake barbie

    What color eyeshadow and blush???

i'm wearing a white and green striped shirt with jeans so what color makeup do u think i should wear i was going to wear brown eyeshadow and pink blush will that look ok or what colors???What color eyeshadow and blush???
wear natural makeup with brown eyelinerWhat color eyeshadow and blush???
    Wear green eyeshadow.:D
green eyeshadow like a navy green color and a lite pink blush would look great
if you have blue eyes, wear a light tan with a dark brown on top
I would go with a natural color. either go with a shade close to your skin color or something that accents your eyes.
wear green eyeshadow, and lip gloss(clear), n blush iz a bit much lol but u can wear it if ya want.

okay when you say african american...you still have to give more info: are you very dark, yellowish skin tone??? It all makes a difference. I would stick with a little bronzer on more of a goldish tone for the entire face, and bronze on the eyes...a really pretty wine colored lip, or you can never go wrong using, nude colors and get that sexy wet look!! also perhaps those people saying things about you, should help you instead of talking about you. Always remember that beauty comes from within......and as long as you like what you see in the mirror...girl do your own thing! What color blush and eyeshadow go together as a must?
i am black too and i wear a aura science russet red blush from victorias secret, its discontinued and i can only get it from semi annual sales, but it looks best on my complexion. try to find a blush that is not too red or too pink, because it will not look natural. dont think that because you are black, that you cannot wear blush, thats silly. i would go to a mac counter- (i personally feel that they have the most shades available for women of color) and ask their recommendation for which color blush you should wear.

as for the green shadow, i wear color on my eyes, but maybe it is the type of green, avoid very light colors like limes, because they are not flattering and can look halloween-ish

Hmm don't take this offensively, but I think bronzer will look better than blush, and a tan/gold eyeshadow
the only rule of thumb is keep warm colours with warm colours, and cool with cool. but even that rule is meant to be broken. it all depends on shades and strengths of the colours you're using.

but keep in mind that red and green are complementary colours, which means that they intensify eachother the most. having two high points of attention like that may be causing the eyesore.
I would suggest more intense shades of purple for eyeshadow and the dark reds would blend really well for blush. Avon's true color eyeshadow and blush has many different shades to choose from ranging from really pale pastel to dramatic color intensities. You can actually shop for them online.
Why don't you try pink's and warm colour's.
hmm...i think maybe a slight orangish pink blush with a light light pink eyeshadow. hope that helps!
Always choose what goes best with your complex and you can always do test on choosing your color
it depends on what color your complexion is.
well duh u cant ever where green eye shadow unless its santpattys day u have to wear colors that blend yur skin
Taupe, gray, violet, purple and deep blue colors go well with blue eyes while black mixed with bright blue color helps to create smoky eyes. For bold funky looks, you can choose silver, turquoise and fuchsia colors. Brown, apricot, purple, plum and forest green colors brighten up green and hazel eyes while you can add a touch of boldness to the face by experimenting with gold, lime-green, very light green and bright purple shades. Copper, bronze, champagne, beige and forest-green looks good on brown eyes while brown eyeshadow helps to create a doe-eyed look. Colors like tangerine, royal blue, hot pink and lime-green add a punch to the personality and are quite favorite with younger generation. The colors that can be used for all eyes are navy or charcoal based shades while powder-blue eyeshadow is great for achieving highlighting effects while the hottest color in the night parties is the silver-sparkle.

You should try the browns, like bronzy colors and the golden color to go along with it. It also helps if you put the darker color on the outer half of your lid and then blend the lighter shade towards the inside half of your eye closest to the nose.

This will also make your eyes look more wide awake and vibrant but it looks so natural. I get compliments on mine all the time.

While I am not african american I do have very dark skin and I tan at least 4 times a week. I have african american friends who have tried it also and it looks great!

    Good luck!
Gold eye shadow looks really cool! But im not shure about the blush

I'm sort of pale--and blush and eyeshadow etc. never seem to stay on... help!?

Ive gone through alot lately... and my mom wont let me wear black eyeliner or dark eyeshadow...she thinks ill go emo spaz. i have like NO money to spend on makeup...so i cant afford your 20$ eyelash curler. I usually wear light powder, lavender eyeshadow(i do not like that much), blush, clear mascara (blonde hair), and lip gloss. PLEASE HELP!

    My hair is blonde (darker)

My eyes are greenI'm sort of pale--and blush and eyeshadow etc. never seem to stay on... help!?
I think my coloring is very similar to yours. I usually wear a tinted moisturizer, concealer when needed, powder, a bit of blush, a light bronze, brown eyeshadow and brown mascara. Brown mascara is okay because its not as harsh as black and still looks pretty natural, especially with dark blonde hair.

Here are the products I use...I am a teacher and just married, so I cant afford $20 eyelash curlers either.

Choose light shades that match your skin tone. Pinch your cheeks to see what the right color blush it on you. Eyes look great in purples, browns and a bit of gold if you have some gold in your eyes.I'm sort of pale--and blush and eyeshadow etc. never seem to stay on... help!?
Regarding your makeup not staying put, you should always make sure to use a light moisturizer before applying makeup. Let it absorb thoroughly, apply make up as usual, and then take a relatively inexpensive light, flexible hold hairspray and lightly mist your finished face (I like Garnier Fructis Pure Fix Spray $8.99 at drugstores). People say this method clogs your pores, but as long as you maintain a good nighttime facial cleansing regimen complete with a salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide based cleanser, toner, and spot treatment, using hairspray as a quick fix works just fine. The product ';Model in a Bottle'; is also another option, sold at some drug stores and WalMart, but it can get pretty pricey.

Also, using a brown volumizing eye shadow will really make your eyes pop against your skin tone.
for your eyeshadow try an eyeshadow base

loreal makes a good one it costs around $6

cant help with blush i dont wear it

i just looked at mine its called Loreal De-Crease
A little bronzer in a peach-gold color is flattering, and lights up pale skin without looking fake. Use a light coat across youir cheeks and the bridge of your nose, and add a little just below your eyebrows. Use a TINY bit on your chin and forehead.

It also lasts longer than regular blush. Try it with a peach, pinkish or golden eye shadow, even a cheap brand is okay, for a summery look. Eyeshaow stays on better sometimes if you dab a little mosturizer on your eyelids first.
1] moisturize at night, not in morning

2] brush loose translucent powder all over face [ eyelids too ]

3] put a dab of cream blush on cheeks, followed by powder blush in same shade [ lasts twice as long! ]

4] get some shadow trios in blues, browns, and maybe grays or lavenders. Choose shades in colors that look good on you

[ baby blue vs. aqua; white vs. ivory, taupe vs. caramel ]

5] put lightest color from eyelashes to eyebrows - light even coat [ like painting! ]

6] put medium color from lashes to crease

7] then put darkest color in crease, and blend gently with pinky or ring finger [ sort of tap along so colors apear to merge into each other, like rainbows ].

The shadows especially take practice - after you finish, go outside in sunlight and look at yourself in the mirror to make sure you don't look like a hooker.

8] try some expresso brown mascara, and navy or expresso brown crayon liner [ Cover Girl, L'oreal, Physician's Formula ].
Has anyone ever complimented you on a shirt color that looked good on you? If so, try buying that color in eyeshadow and eyeliner. You can get the shadow color shimmery to have some more fun with it. Line your eyes half way from the outer corner of yours eyes on the top and bottom. Then apply the shadow going from the lid onto the crease. Blend in upwards with your finger in small strokes to give you a flirty effect. You can try covergirl eye shadow. Its nice and inexpensive. Hope that helps :)

What are my colours?? what blush, lip colour, eyeshadow, etc. especially for my eyes..?

    EYES - dark brown

SKIN - medium (i'm white but tanned)

HAIR - golden red... copperish.. hard to describe

*my eyes are an almond shape - what eyeshadow/liner should i use with them??

thanks! What are my colours?? what blush, lip colour, eyeshadow, etc. especially for my eyes..?
For your eyes, if you just want a natural look, go for a sparkly beige. My eyes are greenish-brown and that's what I use. If you're wanting a more dramatic look, I'd say go for a bright navy, turquoise, or teal to make the brown in your eyes pop. For eyeliner and mascara, use black. Or none at all, if you can get away with it. It gets old to have to make a precise black line around your eyes every day.

For your blush, I'd say just a pretty, feminine, soft shade of pink. Nothing too dark or nothing too hot pink. Just make your cheeks look natural. You could try a little bronzer too.

For lip gloss, try a light pink color, especially if you're using the blue eye shadow. It will make your lips pretty but natural so that most of the attention from others will be shed on your eyes.

Hope I helped! :DWhat are my colours?? what blush, lip colour, eyeshadow, etc. especially for my eyes..?
blue or purple (dark on both) shadow, and black liner. or lik a gold shadow. and kinda a coral peachy-pink blush

Stick to earth tones for your eyeshadow. Browns will highlight your eyes and steer away from hot pinks, blues, purples etc as they are only appropriate for cute teenage girls. You could get a bronzing powder and use this for both the eyes and cheeks and use a warm brown on the lips.

  • Is foundation, eyeshadow, mascara, and blush too much for every day use?

which one is better for everyd ay?Is foundation, eyeshadow, mascara, and blush too much for every day use?
I use foundation, mascara, and blush every day.

Just dont use crazy or bold colors

soft and natural/neutral colors are good for everyday use.:DIs foundation, eyeshadow, mascara, and blush too much for every day use?
    Yeah that's a bit much.

    Here's what I usually do;

1- If your skin is not too bad, maybe you just need to even out the tone, wear a tinted moisturizer and an invisible powder over that ( I use rimmel stay matte).

2- Line your lower rim of your eye with a brown liner. This is a subtle way to bring out your eyes without having a dramatic affect. (This is an especially great tip for work days).

3- Mascara is a must. If you wear nothing else, be sure to wear mascara! It's subtle but works wonders for your eyes, and opens up your entire face.

4-If you NEED hint of color, use a TINY bit of blush, but my favorite way to brighten my face is with a bronzer, (physicians formula works best, plus it has spf in it which is always a plus).

5-Finally, lip gloss. The best one is the classic. CHAPSTICK. It doesn't add color, it doesn't add shine, it just moisturizes your lips which is really all you need. Unless you have a ';trademark'; lip color, in which case, go for it. =)
is all on how heavy the makeup is. its better to where jus foundation and mascara for everyday if you absoloutly need to wear it that way when you go out with your friends, dances, dates, etc you can add the blush and eyeshadow and people wil notice it more. but if you always wear it then youll look the same no matter where your going. change it up a bit
It's doesn't take all that much time to put on your make up I'm sure.. An extra 10-15 minutes to look good isn't that ';taxing'; is it..?

If you LOOK good you FEEL good.. Anything wrong with that...?

That's the trouble with so many g/g s ou there today... They put on a pair of jeans, a t-shirt, flip flops, and walk out the door saying ';Damn - I look good...!!!'; HA!!!!

I say ';Look in the mirror sweets, because YOU DON'T LOOK GOOD!!!

Women nowadays are failing to look like women anymore.. And it's entirely their own fault..

    Rachelle In High Heels
Foundation, mascara and lipgloss are my every day staples, and are a nice day look that doesn't make you look overdone during the day.

I only wear eyeshadow, liner, or blush when I have somewhere more formal to be.
I think it depends how much of each you're putting on. Make up is personal to everyone, if you like to wear alot and it reflects your personality, then why not. I tend to wear eyeliner and mascara for everyday.
That is a bit much. I generally think mascara and lipgloss it fine for everyday wear.
    lipgloss, eyeliner and mascara.

    really dramatic :D
I wear all of that almost everyday! For more relaxed days, I opt for just blush and mascara though!
It's a bit much,,, just lose the foundation... your skin needs to breathe.

What color makeup( eyeshadow, lipstick, blush, etc) will go with a brown top??

I might be asking too many of theses question, I know!!!! LOl..but I want to look great on my b-day!1 I think my bf is going to propose!!!! Hey, hey, just an assumption.LOLWhat color makeup( eyeshadow, lipstick, blush, etc) will go with a brown top??
go with bronzey colors! What color makeup( eyeshadow, lipstick, blush, etc) will go with a brown top??
Light blue goes really well with brown. Good luck!
Shiny golds always go good with brown. Or just something gold.
Either a Gold, Purple, or Bronze depending on your skin tone and the shade of the brown top
almost any colour. other browns or bronzes, coral, pink, light beige.Even some blues look nice, depending on eye colour and hair shade.
anything would go with brown...it depends on what looks good on your face more than w/ ur clothes tho! for brown shirt...i would prolly go with green or pinks....natural colors..
Brown eyeshadow, bronze cheeks and lips. Neutral tones baby, you'll do just fine.
You don't wear your make-up to match your clothes. It looks weird. You wear what compliments your eye, skin color/tone. Always make sure your blush %26amp; lipstick are from the same '; family ';-cool, warm or nuetral. Eyes shadow(s) can be different. Brown eyes can wear almost any colors. Green eyes look good in browns, lilac....blue eyes should never wear blue eyeshadow-just too much! Earth tones look good on blue because they compliment the color of the eye-they don't try to compete with it.
Orange always works with brown. Just be careful not to look like a pumpkin!
With brown you can do so much! You can definitely do the bronzes but you can also play around and maybe throw a little teal in there or a little pink. Either of those colors will look really good with brown. If you do go bronze you can put a little gold on the inside corner of your eye just to make it stand out a little.
